@@holdingcopsaccountable6554Yeah, we really don't know that. Just his description of the traffic stop makes me wonder was RAS they had for the search. So, no, we do not know if his deputies are on the up and up. (And obviously not in this particular circumstance).
If every police boss was so open and transparent about the flaws in their department, maybe people would be more trusting of the police, because it shows the ACTUAL "bad apples" and shows that the majority of cops are just honestly doing their job, while bad cops ruin their reputation.
@@notfiveothat's not true. Florida just has more laws regarding public records and a larger population than most states. @@singaporesammy I agree, it seems really strange. Police departments are usually reserved when it comes to releasing information about ongoing investigations especially internal investigations but this Sheriff is singing like a canary. He discloses how every arrest ever made by these officers which involved property confiscation will be investigated. Then he says the charges to the suspects these officers arrested will be dropped because the officer's integrity is too questionable. Also they're working with their finance department to reimburse the stolen money. Then the Sheriff says we suspect one of the arresting officers stole the money.
@@jennifercunha2539 no he’s not “always” straight forward. He’s tainted a couple jury pools by declaring people as guilty when the evidence was not fully collected. He’s correct in this situation, but not always.

Florida baby we don't give a fuck.. from the citizens to the cops to the government.. act a fool get treated like a fool.. no liberal democrat bullshit here
Plot Twist: Sheriff Judd actually took the money. Judd told the 3 officers to make a deal with him on this one and so they agreed too take this lesser punishable crime so that Judd wouldn't report them for the worser crimes that he has evidence of them doing in the past.
This is someone I wish I worked for. "Do the right thing, even when no-one is looking." If you have any values and integrity isn't at the top of your list, the rest mean nothing. People make mistakes. You lost money. Just tell your supervisor and ask for guidance. Let your leadership help you solve the problem, the right way. Your community is fortunate to have you sheriff.
I’d still be a cop if I’d worked for a man like this sheriff. Twenty years; forced to retire in retaliation for reporting 3 cops that fabricated evidence and while being paid to set up and arrest a citizen. I got the charges against the citizen dismissed and two of the three cops fired, but forced out of my position in retaliation for blowing the whistle.
@Jack Sayers yet you seem to be insinuating that the three police officers that clearly have stolen and lied in a report are innocent that doesn't sound like your fighting for justice and truth but it seems more like your fighting for criminals to be in the police force and to be honest it doesn't take a lot of courage to comment something on RU-vid also you accuse the sheriff of being power hungry not once has he shown that, I think you should pick carefully who you defend next time.
@Jack Sayers and you got your phrases wrong sheep in the sense your talking means they follow something just because a lot of people do and they know nothing about it and don't understand it but that is not the case here these people are informed and understand it and not just following one person , you need to stop using phrases and metaphors that don't work or make sense in these situations
This Sheriff is a brilliant example of a good honest and transparent officer, exactly what is expected but so rarely encountered. More like him are needed.
Actually, Grady is the norm for police work. Most of us believe in doing the right thing, no matter what, even if it means turning in those corrupt cops who don't... As evidenced by how this IA came to light.
This video was posted 2 years ago. I’m curious about the end story. What finally happened to these officers in court. If found guilty, what were their punishments.
Grady Judd is simply the best. I have so much respect for him not only as a sheriff but as a human being. You can tell he’s such a genuine, honest, and thorough person when it comes to his job. Well done, sheriff! 👏🏻
Sheriff Grady does a lot more for not just Polk County. He's put together some damned impressive state wide raids to clean up other states as well. I love his sarcasm when he jokes about thieves posting their loot on social media. Guy had me in tears laughing.
This is the same Sheriff for that incident where a mother was ran over by a group of kids who stormed in her house to beat up her son. This guy is amazing! You should check out that press conference as well. He needs a raise! (Edit) And he had the visuals in that press conference too. Lol.
What the He c k with the YOUR-tube? ? Why it does not say in which STATE of which Polk County it happened? The Media is confusing people and lies as usual .
You're not supposed to see "this kind of openness." Publicly revealing facts of a case before jury selection is called jury tampering and is a crime against the People. This sheriff does this habitually to ensure his desired outcomes. He is paid to do his duty, not to have an opinion and desired outcomes. This theater is to give the appearance that he is tough on crime, and to ensure his reelection. He's a songbird. If his cases are as solid as he presents them to the press they would speak for themselves at trial. He has no trust for the People he serves to reach the right conclusions, or may not want them to reach the right conclusion. Everything he has said here, if true, can be reported after the trial. There is no need for this. The only statement that the sheriff is obligated to make to the press (aka We the People) is "Three of my deputies have been arrested for suspicion of evidence tampering. They have been incarcerated and an investigation is ongoing."
You are the example of how all sheriffs offices, Should conduct services if everyone followed your lead we wouldn’t have this nonsense that’s going on today you’re awesome

The biggest crime they can be proven of is trying to cover it up. It’s gonna go to court with police Union lawyers it’s gunna be a he said she said type deal and there not gunna have enough evidence to get anyone. Just wasting the courts time. On paper it’s sounds like a dream world arresting them and upholding integrity but the reality is it’s not practical.
Texan here. I am highly impressed with Sheriff Grady Judd. Just curious, how large is Polk county and how many deputies are under his command. I live in a large county and never hear anything from our Sheriff and don't know his name. We need this man in Washington DC. Never mind on the deputies, I made it to the end.1000
If we had more police officers like this sheriff, and more police departments being run with the integrity, accountability, and responsibility that this one has, then this country's police corruption and race relations problems would disappear. Hats off to Polk county Sheriff's department.
Not the race relations part as the overall race problems are manufactured by the crooked race baiting perps. Anti-white hate and victimization practices have been passed down in black families for generations sadly.
s anybody talking about how this sheriff, that I'm seeing a lot of praise for, just outlined how officers can get away with evidence shenanigans, "all they had to do was tell a Sargeant a lil birdy ate it"! Would the Sargeant been OK with that excuse. If so take notes officers and I will no longer be traveling with money, in case a lil birdy gets it!
I agree with the top part. However I believe someone is always watching even when it may seem nobody is watching. Your better and worse self is watching. What is fed most grows stronger. As far as the thank you sheriff part goes I'll try not to disagree to much. Cause he does seem to do his part. I just can't stand it when he twist facts of a few bad apples as examples into his sham war on drugs campaign like he does. That in itself should be criminal and should be held accountable and put behind bars. Just like the system profits from people's "health conditions" such as addiction instead of being decent folks and help get back on track to lead a more healthier and positive life style. Do you know how many people have life sentences for something that can't hurt anyone without am action of a human behind it? Such as drugs and guns? Yet the real problems like pedophilia are out harming children everyday. That get a small portion of the time. I know I have 3 years clean from heroin. I also been to prison along with the offenders/predators that caused my pain to want to try managing with drugs in the first place. Not saying that I was an angel but I surely wasn't out to harm others. That's what prison is for, for the ones out preying on others. Not the ones who may have got caught up in traps or addictions. And again is my only beef with this sheriff. He is either highly ignorant which is no excuse for his position or lies and twist the the truth of drugs. Drugs do not make people bad. People make people bad. Guns don't kill people. It takes an action of a human to make a gun kill someone. Drugs don't kill. It takes an action of a human to over ingest drugs to kill. I'll end with this. Everyone should know the real reason the whole war on drugs was created. Its far more sinister than what they want you to believe. It wasn't about the drugs. Drugs have been around for thousands of years and will always be around . Good source of revenue to an empire is what it became but if you research you will find it had more to do with racism at first. Please do your own research and find the truth out for yourself. Don't just now down to a system that is raping our liberties away seemingly by the day. If it's not already too late it surely will be when we are nothing but their robots. Make a stand for what is right! And dig your feet into the ground to oppose that which is trying to oppress us all..

“You cannot police a community without holding yourself to a higher standard.” THANK YOU 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I am SO SICK of hearing, “but he was scared” when a cop shoots an innocent person, or, “but he was speeding to help someone” when a cop runs over a young student because he was driving 40mph over the speed limit in a heavy pedestrian area under construction. You are NOT above the law. You are in fact THE LAW-ACT LIKE IT.
The last time I was involved in a police investigation, the officer destroyed evidence to protect his friend. I filed a complaint and internal affairs simply refused to investigate. I demanded a meeting with the police chief and he told me, "the officer said he had the evidence. It isn't in the file now. You can't prove he destroyed it and we're done dealing with this case." It cost me $2000 and I have never felt so helpless in my life. The whole department folded around one another to protect each other. This is a breath of fresh air.
and that type of incident is the real issue with the “blue line”. As a teenager my car was illegally searched because the officer said “you took too long” getting the insurance card he asked me for . I was literally in my armrest for 3 seconds. Went to file a complaint and the supervisor told me and my dad to our faces it wouldnt go anywhere and then gave me the “if it were any other officer i might believe you but this guy is straight as an arrow!” . I didnt even get a ticket for that traffic stop so i had no reason to fabricate anything. Im in a workers union and same thing happens here, Protecting those who shouldnt be protected hurts EVERYONE!
It’s cuz the police are part of the fraternal order of the police which requires them to take the oath to always protect their fellow police officers. And the origins of the police were never to protect the public they were originally set up to catch runaway slaves.
