@@diveville she's a musician, and iirc she also said in another video she's an actress, so makes sense why she speaks so theatrically XD Also, kinda normal for some brazilians to speak very theatrically lol
This was a very fun show. The Welsh really threw me, especially when she spoke English so clearly. But then once she said Welsh, it made sense. The girl from Australia was a surprise as well. I heard the Mandarin, but then when she spoke Aussie English it was a treat. The polyglot hosts were fun, and they hid their skills well until the reveal in the end of each interview. Kudos.
Julia and Miguel some kind have a similar “vibe”, but she is more energetic while he is more polite, and this pretty much could exemplifies the major difference between the "personality" of this 2 countries (Brazil and Portugal). They look somekind of cousins to me and both represents a lot their respective countries when they're together. Hope to see them along more times, they are very charismatic.
wow, miguel showcasing his language skills always seems to amaze me... his german is so freaking good. ✨ i love how they all pretended not to know a thing just to surprise people at the end. just polyglot things. 😂 i'm always here to see more of miguel. 💖 bora portugal. 🇵🇹
@@aldozilli1293Welsh reminds me the lord of the rings elf language. While Irish language has the same ups and downs as when Irish people speak English
@@module79l28 they said "AS A PORTUGUESE i have never seen portugal and brasil so well represented"... meaning that THEIR OWN OPINION AS PORTUGUESE PERSON is that portugal and brazil are being very well represented by miguel and júlia. why use "*" when you aren't correcting anything? they said exactly that, "AS A PORTUGUESE"... just to make yourself sound like the d*mbass you are. 😉 wtf was that for? always starting stupid fights... ignorants. 😩
Those 3 people are amazing, I wish I had 10% of their talent. I picked up the Welsh lady easily, but there again I live in uk. Thankfully Welsh is making a comeback after a strong effort to keep it alive. Trains, road signs, local bbc broadcasts etc are all done in Welsh as well as English in Wales.
When Jenny started talking Welsh to a bunch of unfamiliar polyglots, it's the best haha they were so intrigued. Way to go on pulling off the reverse acting!
Julia is the best Brazilian person to represent us and she has the most contagious energy i’ve ever seen! It’s unquestionable that we need she in every other videos! We love u Julia! Kisses from BraSil! With a S not Z hahaha
Angela is so sweet, she has such a nice energy, actually, they're all amazing, every single participant, it's so good and invigorating to watch that I can't stop smiling
I loved the video as usual, I think these members matched really well and Julia was saying "tampoco" (none) as if it were también (also). When she said that, I was thinking about her Portunhol LMAO
In France, I believe the choices we get for learning a second language mostly depend on where we live in the country. My friends from south-east of France could choose between spanish and italian but not german, wich make sense as they live closer to the Italian border. But personnally, living in the north-west of the country, I could choose between spanish and german only. I think spanish is the most studied language in France after english, it is a pretty useful language worldwide for sure.
I'm brazilian, and i really love to see our neighbor (e gajo portugáiz) Miguel in these videos. I think Julia is a perfect combination with him in every challenge, they are something like cousins, i love that vibe so much 😂💚 If it's not wrong, i would shipp they 😅
4:23 When she said that “Anybody could be Brazilian” I couldn’t agree more. As a Brazilian person living in the US I can say you can find people from our country hidden everywhere😂😂😂
Out of all of them, I think Welsh blew me away I was guessing Finland. And I assumed China on the last one, never would have guess Australia. Fun video
18:22 I mean Spanish is the same no matter which country you want to go to but what changes is the slang and the meaning of some words and thats all 10:39: lol Julia was so excited and almost asked her to marry her 🤣I laughed so many times
This was a great video. The three regulars playing are fun, and all the guests are top notch, keep their phone numbers on file. Both Katherina and Mikaela were very easy for me to understand. When Mikaela said "cancion", I knew it was Spain. Spain Spanish was apparently the language I made a poor attempt at learning in high school. It's a guess with Katherina, but she sounds southern German to me, but maybe only because she tried to speak softly. Also, very cool you were able to find someone that speaks Welsh. I had a feeling where it was going, but I thought she might be Irish at first, because she pulled off an American accent in the first little bit she spoke, and Ireland has an area where the people sound like they're from the US.
@@EddieReischl There are objective factors though. When people say that German sounds harsh, they usually refer to the "R", "K" and "CH" (ach) sounds. Southern German dialects *factually* have more of these sounds. There's absolutely nothing about her that gives even a hint of Southern German.
Equivalent to the _Westron_ or _Common Tongue_ of the Tolkien's World. Spoken everywhere, and you are supposed to speak the language of your people *plus* westron. But, just as in Tolkien's lore, if you only speak westron (english) then you are very possibly a secondary character in the story lol!
Angela sounds like a comedian when she talks about her family. Her vibe changes when she says, ‘Never feel bad about it because my mom can’t speak English. she is hilarious
Yeah I would have started with Cantonese, then throw in English “cause English is an official language in Hong Kong”. Then add Mandarin cause, technicality. They would of been so confused 😂
