3 POWER SOURCES for Jobsite Fridge & Heater - 18V, AC or DC? Metabo KB 18 BL 18V 

Got this! Bought it from Ohio Power Tool a few months ago. Use it a lot weekly! Love this thing! The temperature specs are a best case scenario for sure, but have used it on weekend trips as a fridge in hotels and it gets to high 30's low 40 degrees F easily. Keeps everything ice cold.

With the Infrared Camera we were seeing temperatures inside as low as 42 degrees, keeping drinks or sandwiches nice and cold. Max cooling of 62 degrees means if you leave it on a jobsite in the shade that gets to 95 or 100 degrees you are probably still ok. If it is in a truck baking in sun with windows up and gets up to 140 degrees or hotter (which they can easily) it's not going to keep items very cold, better off sticking with a well insulated cooler and lot of ice.

Actually saw this on Tool Deals RU-vid channel a couple of weeks ago along with a few other Metabo tools you had on promo. It looks awesome. May have to look into getting one.

bring over the Hikoki cooler from Japan. It charges batteries when connected to AC or DC power, can freeze to -18C and can separate into fridge and freezer at the same time!

I recieved mine today . So far Seems pretty sweet. I dont get the whole temperature things but the way you guys explanied helped me to better understand . For the price compared to makita...ill Go with #Metabo

Is there enough room to fit a battery adapter plus an 18v to use a Dewalt battery?

Not a good "cooler". This is the old thermostatic style. If you don't put in an item that is already cold don't expect any real temperature drop. Can't believe in 2022 a company would offer this junk. I'll stick with a true battery operated fridge/cooler that has a compressor from Makita!
