I write hella 1 verse shit & sometimes jus take 2 & make a whole song out of em. Have the 1st verse be the intro & the 2nd be the midtro & continue with my shit
@@noratrobert7898 let me make it interesting(for myself that is lol) next 5 random words on my comment ill think about and comeback with an abstract flow 👍 Im trying to help you help me
I actually enjoyed a video here's one game a buddy and mine developped we would just have casual conversations in rhyme. So basically you have to talk about whatever issues you want to talk about with friends but you have to make it rhyme. Like "Hey man, just got out of work fam, they stressed because they think I'm doing less, truth is in due time they will see my true grind." And then it's your friends turn to talk or give you advice but he has to male the advice rhyme like "Bro, do more. Or speak up don't let them sneak up and fire you because they hired you to do work now go back and show them what you're worth."
That's really tight. Inspiring. I used to freestyle but nobody kept up with me but they laughed at me for being not great, so I'd like to put them in the high beams and test their skills. Can they one single statement?
I free write. it's like freestyle which mean every word doesn't always rhyme it just connects in the flow a lot of rappers do it past and present. it allows me to say different things and take on different subject matter. I can rhyme all day but sometimes I say the same thing. so I free write to stay on the subject.
Simple strategy I found to rapping - Structured bars and fixes to common problems: #1 Find the emotion of the beat - What is the emotion? dark, light, happy, sad? You need to know, how to match this emotion, it predicts what your delivery is about to be. #2: Find the topic matter - put down what you want to talk about. You can exaggerate, a bunch and put much detail. Select more specific days, and then angles, for unlimited topic matter. Don`t really want to be more broad in topic matter, try talking about a crazy day, and time. #3: Count the beat - 1,2,3,4 for 1/4 notes, 1 an, 2 an, 3 an, 4 an , for 1/8 notes. Find the rhythm, so you can start phrasing or scatting. #4: Come up with a phrase that comes up in your head, that suits the beat. You can use this for you rhyme scheme or scat to the beat, finding your flow. Flow = Cadence and Rhythm. Cadence is just 1/4 notes, 1/8th notes, 1/16 notes and rarely 1/32 notes. Rhythm = the pattern of pauses and breathing. #5: Find the bar structure - Where do you land on your rhyme schemes? Which beat? 1,2,3, or 4? Snares land on 2nd and 4th beat, and kicks normally land 1 or 3 in 4/4 timing. 99% of beats are 4/4 timing.
Alright. So when I try to sharpen my skills as a rhymer. I break words into syllables. For example. Infinity. In-fin-it-y 4 syllables. I rhyme the vowels in the word. Or usually already have a word in my arsenal. Like vicinity. When I run out of rhymes I then use other words with the same vowels. Lyrically Killing me. Spritually filling me.
"Walking rapper" is an excellent one. One thing I use to make it more advanced is to take words that rhyme and then start to make actual stories out of the things I see. Actual raps, while keeping the rhymes.
I don't open up cuz they pull me back like a parachute A skinny dude but with the mic I scare these dudes You better hide yo girl before I tear that puss' Until she can barely move You dare I would? Try to take her back they'll find your body in the nearby woods (slant rhyme )
My game is listening to a beat and scatting “templates” of vocalization until I like the way the lyrics feel with the song, then try and fill in the blanks as the words reveal themselves lmao. It’s like MC crossword puzzles
Just wanted to thanks a lot for this! It's really helpful for people like us who are new to this game. I'm trying to make a difference with my rap music so I have to make my style differ from the rest, and this video really gives some useful tips!
2 other aspects to consider would be: rhythm (percussion) practice : it's important to feel the timing of the music/instrumental (is it in 2/4 or 3/4 time? are you landing your rhymes on the beat or a little before or after it?). voice/ inflection/pitch... what melody are you rapping? can you rap a melody with only syllables? make sure consonants don't completely erupt the legato of the voice which rides atop the breath.. breath in essence can be practiced through meditation or vocal trills.. or just by being in healthy shape can have a positive effect on your vocal phrases potential.
You need to know which beat, the 1,2,3 or 4 - that the rhyme scheme lands on. Then repeat after 2,4,6, or 8 bars sections. Not in odd numbers like 3,5,7,9. Rhyme schemes = When Rhymes are relatively in the same place for at least 2 structured bars in the beat. Internal Rhymes = When you Rhyme within a bar but it doesn't carry over to another bar after that, in the beat. flow = Cadence + Rhythmic music notes & pauses.
I have a rap game where i take one big word and try to find all the little words that match any syllable in that word and make it a flow, for example: Telescope - tell cope. regurgitate- reverb estate girl state. now in a flow - when your mind's messed up i tellem to cope by going out to look through a telescope and regurgitate all they've heard from the reverb estate to the girls in the state that they know. it never comes out like an actual rap song but allows you to find small bits of rhymes that you could piece into a better song or flow.
Orphic is and app I use; an adjective orphics meaning is fascinating or entrancing. Orphic as an app focuses on weird and wonderous words not communicated in common use currently, Words era eluf eluding dictation to date, As well, plenty verbiage shows up that's known to date just less used. Each day Orphic sends me a word, I pick my favorite and start a scheme from it. Orphic gives numerous example sentences of almost every word, written by talented staffed author's I presume
It's hard, but I'm not gonna complain, Coz your videos are making me explain, I'll try until things fit in my brain, And I'ma not letting go this in the vain.
My way is, whenever I get free time, I think of a rap in my head, (random lines) . Then I just change the lines a bit to make the last word rhyming. I get a freestyle.
Can you make a video about when you come up with some dope things to say when you can't actually put them down and when you can, you forgot what it was you had came up with?
you wanna school me boy you cant fool me i am the master i created that blaster my words are like a spell caster they harm you im not like that i aint trying to charm u so these words will bite you like birds
Goin against me is lyrical SUICIDE, this game is do or DIE, My bars make you ask yourself, well who am I to go against YOU, Jump out the plane with no PARACHUTE and you might SURVIVE, Face me one on one? better take yo chance with the DIVE My WORDS come ALIVE in the MIND, take you for a RIDE out from peaceful TIMES To a world DIVIDed between the VERBS do or TRY, See I perform the former, while you just gonna do it later, Basically, the LATTER, Mind over MATTER means nothing to this mad HATTER, Cuz its the MATTER of life and death THAT covers my brain like a top HAT These RAPpers just POP BACK from the same mould that they made from But I broke the cycle and REFUSED to be GLUED like GUM to the SHOES of my predecessors.... Hey this is fun

This is dope and i hope I'll learn from the truth you spoke next time i rhyme I'll clear my throat and get my bars straighter than a rope, this is informative y'all, stay woke it'll lessen you probability to choke and start to cope. and whoever want the smoke will come as a joke and stay broke
i do the same thing at work. instead of rhyming one word, i rhyme syllables and distort words while also spontaneously changing accents to match my rhymes and syllables.
One game that i got is me and my friends take turns saying a random word then we all have to say ryhmes. whoever cant think of one after a bunch of rounds loses
Man if you do that type of stuff with your friend , then you definitely wanna check this guy out, for real he is a true inspiration for everybody who wants to start rapping or wants to be a dope ass freestyler You will love this man for real....ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DZUDLd7n2DY.html
Damn I was looking at my chair and the first tip hit me, this was my rhyme.. "A bear is sitting on a chair, having an affair with her mother in despair." Idk what that means lol
mine is the comparison game idk if its really a game but i usually comapre somethin i see or somethin i think of then I see like what could be the same as this or what is up with this or what it is for instance "u cant really trust the boy cuz hes 2 faced like professor snape" You know what i mean cause professor snape wasnt trust worthy or wasnt friendly and usually didnt like others much so yeah i like to compare things i see or think of, but i made this one up at universal studios. :P
Good stuff, man. What I like to do is tell my girlfriend to keep giving me random words while I'm bumping a hip hop instrumental. Something like 'CABLE! A'ight, the word's cable, you all/ I'm too stable to fall, plus I label you 'troll'/ Step to me and get your ass in a reckless brawl/ I've done shit that'll make your neck skin crawl../ HEADPHONES! Shut the fuck up, hear me out on your headphones/ You're less known, feel that trembling in your leg bones?/ Brothers be livin' like dead clones/ They got friendzoned by the chicks that gave me head, woah!/ Ow, why the fuck did you hit me?/ I'm sorry baby, go ahead, throw a word quickly/ VENGEANCE! I serve my vengeance cold/ When I jump out the window with a ninja sword/ Kick your TV and extension cord/ Baby I rule the grounds you seldom trod/ Upon. Yo, I'm out G.'

@ Makavelli Let me make it interesting, maybe just for myself; I'll think about the 1st 5random words on my comment, and come back with an abstract yet meaningful flow
