Isn't that the craziest thing? I wish I'd gone for the hysterectomy from the beginning but I was still having a period. That is what made me try the ablation first.

In my situation I'm epileptic. One of my main seizure triggers are my cycle every month, now for 5 years. They're saying I may need a hysterectomy in hopes of it may help. Crazy huh??? I don't even have heavy or hard cycles, that part is fine. Just seizures sigh...

@DeniseSanger my appointment to my new ob/gyn is next month, and they'll determine it then. My neurologist is recommending it, because he says it's nothing on his end he can do. He also said he's seeing more women come in saying their seizures are triggered by their cycle too.

Hi I have hysterectomy 6 weeks ago what is Recommendation they remove everything included my limbs nodes. Recovery time is important for me let me know for you experience.

Hi Maria. First if something doesn't feel right, talk to your doctor. It took some time for me to feel back to myself. You get 6 weeks recovery in the USA after having a baby. In this case you had a piece of your body removed. Allow your body the time it needs to heal. Hang in there.
