Thanks, Kerry! I’d also be interested in learning some of the more popular progressions in Gospel music. Also, what are the most common chords that are used in gospel? Thanks so much for all you do?
Glad I'm part of Kerry's Kampers. Been practicing these 3 common progressions in his guitar program but didn't fully realize how important they r until now. Thank u so much Kerry.
there are loads of good guitar teachers out there on youtube, but i’m officially making YOU the ONE i’m going to as my teacher! You’re awesome Kerry2Smooth!
That neck pickup is butter!!! What strings are you using? I’ve used super slinky lights for the past 22 years and need to try something a little less bright.
That A-minor Bar cord though, I find it very very difficult to get all 5 strings in the bar sounding at once. But thanks for great short tio on essential R&B progressions. And I also love those turn-around notes you play before repeating the progressions.
It’s sounds like you were doing a descending lick there that wasn’t shown do you know what chords they are or the tab for it ? looks like it was on fifth fret
Just found you. Thanks. Are you familiar with the Curtis Mayfield songs of Major Lance (umm Umm Song, The Monkey Time)? What about Willuam Bell's classic "Can I Change My Mind?" I would love to learn these and more!!! Brook Benton's "Rainy Night in Georgia." Perhaps the saddest song ever written.
you play those warm tones your 5,6 strings sustain them... then use your cleaner crisp sparkle tones on top chords Difference is... You get Two distinct tones 🥠
