I think the idea of _Appeeling Personality_ is that you're an eating contest champion with a... _bizarrely_ fast metabolism. The longer you wait to eat, the hungrier you get, and as you get closer and closer to starvation you start getting faint and experiencing increasingly vivid (and romantic) visual and auditory hallucinations.
