I’m 26 and was worried about going bald, I’ve been losing my hair for at least 5 years. I shaved my head about 2 weeks ago and I’ve had nothing but positivity compliments and female attention. Honestly, I really love this channel. There is so much positivity and general tips for us bald guys. I guess it kind of started when I was 19 - the barber made a comment about the back of my head being thin (around the same area as you, I reckon). Ever since that, I was really paranoid about it, and it really started to show when my hair grew longer, since I couldn't go to the barber too often (imo too expensive to go there every few weeks if you want to have a short, but nice haircut). So regardless if I had long or short hair, I just was at the back of my mind, nagging me. Then I saw how I looked from the back in some photos and that just escalated the problem more. Fast forward to when I was 20 - I took the plunge to buzz it short, and what a difference! Not only did the feelings of "I look so shit, what am I gonna do? I don't wanna be the bald guy" go away, but I looked good with a buzzed head. Eventually, I started shaving it too, and it looked even better. I think what also helped me was the fact that I had some facial hair/a beard to sort of compensate for the lack of hair on the head, and my glasses also draw the attention to my eyes instead of the top of my head. Now, at 21, I realize how quickly the baldness hit me, and I honestly wish I shaved it earlier. I'm so much more confident now, and I'm pretty happy I never have any bad hair days, haha. Just wanted to share my story! Anyone out there hesitating on shaving - do it. You won't regret it.

I started balding at 20 by 24 it was all gone. I left my hair the longest I could while I had it. all through college. I discovered I had curly cool looking hair and I had no idea because where I live you don’t usually have long hair as a kid. When it got to a point where it was absolutely obvious I was balding I shaved off and it was the best thing ever. I wanted to enjoy every single second of long hair while I had it. It was poetic, beautiful. It made me think about my mortality and my place on this planet. It made think how ephemeral life is and the importance of enjoying everything while you can. It’s funny, I use to think I was a tough guy “if I ever bald I’ll just shave” I use to say. But that’s bullshit. I don’t care who you are, when you are balding it’s fucked up because is a reflection of your own mortality and vitality and as men the lack of vitality is one of the biggest tabboos. I’m 25 now, still young, still learning, but I’m comfortable as fuck being the bald friend, the bald family member.

I totally feel that! I’m 21, and have started to notice my crown thinning quite a bit, and it really took a toll on my mental health for a while. I recently took it down to a short buzz, which will most likely turn into a razor shave within the year, but I like to look at it like having my mid-life crisis when I have the energy to deal with it, and not when I’m 35 with kids 😅. I have found no negatives in being bald. I am 21 years old and I started buzzing my head at 20 as far as a 0 guard buzz cut. But, following my 21st birthday, I shaved my head completely with a razor and have been doing so for 3 months now, not letting my hair grow for more than a week. I'm hooked for life being bald even though my hairline is still in tact despite recession.

It puts you to the test when it happens at a young age. You think its is the worst thing that could happened, and while its certainly not, just the impression alone is enough to get most people to better their life because they think they need to compensate for something. While depressing at first, the journey will ultimately be for the good. And I personally wouldn't run with converse btw, that is certainly not good for your feet. I'd go with running shoes or without shoes. Great vid as always!

After wearing embarrassing hairpieces for thirty five years and trying to constantly convince myself that they looked like real hair, I finally shaved recently at the age of 57. I so wish I had done it thirty five years ago, mainly because I couldn't get any more hair pieces because they are made in China. The interesting thing is that no-one even looks at me, because the shaved look today is so normal now. Oh to go back in time. To any young guys now facing hair loss - just do it! I think people deai with going bald differently. I started going bald at 17. It was very difficult and everyone mocked me nd taunted me. I was very depressed. I think for me, I would rather to have starting to go bald at an older age. My brother started losing his hair at an older age and it didn't bother him. I think because he ex[ected it and he was older so it was expected. Going bald is not a big deal, it is hard but you learn to live with it. I will confess I wish I still had my hair. But, there arer worse things in life that could to a person. If you are going bald at a young age, this video gives you a good perspective.

Hey. I remember when i was 12 years old around, there was no hair in front of my head. All my class mates were saying to me ( why your hair like this, your hair will be gone etc. ) at this time, this hair was not that bad for me even in this years because i had a hair. But i am currently 23 years old. I was in military at 21 years old, after shave my head so short, i saw my upperside get thin i was like " hey, this can not be... maybe because of light" So 2 years gone and i shaved my hair again because of quarentine, now 1 month after i see i lost tons of my hairs... even right now i can see my skin when i look to my hair. I am super depressive when i realized it. Probably in 2 years i will lost all my hair sadly. After i realized this, my life went bad for real. I am depressed and don't even wanna breathe anymore. I dont even wanna take pictures, wanna talk to people, wanna look at the mirror... I am trying to addapt this station. But this station is very big that i can not even hold. I am very sad and depressive. Lost all my faith to world, myself etc...

I started to lose my hair at 18 years old and i was doing everything i could to keep it, i did ton of research hack i even became expert in a way i was watching my nutrition and body and i was quite chubby and lazy so i thought maybe exercise might help the blood flow in the head so i did exercise and diet but in the end it didn't matter u can't beat male pattern baldness and one day i just snapped and shaved my head but through diet and exercise i did get a good enough body that i can be confident in so i can say my hair loss changed my lifestyle and its way better than before

I'm 71 yrs. old now but I started balding at about 20yrs old. It was one of the hardest things I've ever dealt with because it robbed me of my youth. This was during the long hair hippy Beatle days when long hair became the fashion. The only guy out there with a shaved head was Yul Brynner. When I was a kid growing up one of the popular TV shows was the Dick Van Dyke Show. There was a character on that show named Buddy and he would always tell another Character named Mel, who was bald, all these bald jokes. I would think to myself "boy I would hate to be bald". Well just 5 yrs. later my fear would become my reality. And did the jokes ever come on strong. I was surrounded by Buddys. Every day at work, college from friends and family. I was dating during those years and strangers that I never met before would see me with a girl who was older than me say that I was rocking the cradle. I even had one girlfriend parents tell their daughter that they didn't want her to date an older man and she was a year older than me. Probably one of the worst experiences was at a Thanksgiving dinner were the host of dinner, who had never met me, thought my aunt was my wife and she was 20 years older than me. I tell you these things ripped holes in my confidence. Today shaved heads are a normal fashion for many young men and it provides an out for dealing with going bald young. Use that gift.

Hit me around 23 or so..... spent a year or so stressing, then buzzed it all off. Now wet shave it twice a week and can't ever picture HAVING hair! Don't want it either.. Much better to lose it younger. Annnd, you'd be surprised how many women love it ;)

Hair is only useful for mating. So it's better to go bald older, after you've gone through life's big season of dating, exploring sexually, and then finally settling down. Your aesthetics matter less once you're already settled down. At that point your ability to gather resources, provide, and defend the family matter more.

Love your channel, and all the support you show. I have the typical widows peak, from 18 till now (22) it’s only gotten worse. As of yesterday, after talking myself out of it for about a month. I took the leap and shaved my head on a mere spur the moment notion, Still kind of in shock that I did. But it feels better, I feel better about it. My brother took the Challenge to grow out his hair like johnwick thinking it would help him feel less stress..confidence work but just last night he chopped it up,then shaved it bald...at first the fam was like "YO CRAZY SAVAGE"+BUT.. THE CONFIDENCE AND MORE RELAXED HE LOOKED WAS LIKE WOW....he noticed that it was more chill without a hat. 😎 Though he doesnt have a square face because of his cheeks..but looking at the rock or vin diesal hes motivated to work out without a care..

lovin' the content, I have shaved my head at the beginning of the summer thinking, it's over. My hair started growing again, it was a lot denser and my hairline is a lot denser than it used to be. The first 2 weeks after shaving my head, girls started to hit on me. My confidence was so high that girls could feel it through the way I was talking to them. since my hair came back, I feel more beautiful, but I've noticed that my confidence is not that high, girls are not hitting on me anymore. I know why I'm not as confident, it has nothing to do with the hair ( school grades are getting me down) but the point is, girls like men, and part of being a man is to be more confident than women, I've discovered it throughout your videos and other content creator. But I'd like advice on style, it's really hard to find a style when you don't have has much hair as other guys. When I shaved, my outfits felt a bit off, my ¨band¨ t-shirt such as slipknot or nirvana were making me look like a punk, when you have no hair, people tend to look more at clothes, and I felt like I could not put off the grungy style .... you give great advice on shaving, if I had known how to shave properly my head, I would not have cut my head 5 times ahahah, but I have not found advices or outfits on your channel, maybe I've missed some content, but I'd like advices, I could only put off sports outfits or very clean outfits.... I had a pretty bad receded hairline so I started using rogaine like 2 years ago & grew my hair out & thought it looked decent until I buzzed my head and saw how thin my temples were and now I also have thinning on my crown too. So that’s pretty depressing and angering. Probably shouldn’t be a big deal but when I have flaw after flaw and finally get over one just to discover a new one that’s 100x worse it really messes with my head. Idk what to do honestly I feel cursed.

I have bought home weights (and a bench) this saves me $$$ on gym membership and many have said I look much better! I also save $$$ on hair cuts over a year a save well over $500 if not much more! I use the saved money on things I like such as holidays, clothes and taking my partner out for meals etc :)

The good thing about being shaven headed is you don't age as much as people with thinning grey hair. That was the thing about Yul Brynner, Telly Savalas and Errol Brown, they always looked the same for decades. I lost my hair at 34 so I had hair when I needed it (when I was young), but to lose your hair at 18 must be hard for some people.

When you are young , in most cases you do not have a beard or , very patchy beard . And people around you have full set of hairs. But when you are old you are pretty much settled , not chasing job , promotion , marriage and also many around you are bald as well and add to that with full set of beard. How should a young man ignore all these factors and be confident and look good.

I buzzed my hair down to a number 1 guard about a month ago. I'm almost 21, about to finish my third- year of college . What did it for me was when my last haircut in October, the barber told me it looked like my hair was going thin. Now, I had noticed some stuff was happening to my hair probably since I was maybe 15 but for a while I just dismissed it as a receding hairline. But since about the end of 2020, i noticed my hair was getting noticeably thin along my hairline, like I could see the scalp even when it was brushed in the very front. Then, it kept getting worse and I finally accepted after the barber made that comment, that I was prematurely balding. Probably since I was 15 but it didnt get noticeable until I was 20. It hurt my confidence in my appearance so much. I have been in a relationship with my girlfriend now for 2 years and I love her to pieces, and I was so scared about losing her attraction if I dont have hair. But I found this channel and channels like this and it gave me hope that there might be life after balding. That I can still look like an attractive, sexy 21 year old man even without hair. But, I was 194 pounds (just almost obese for my height) at the time and I had pretty bad skin from acne blemishes. I knew that I had to make some changes, and in December I decided to count my calories in order to at the very least get to a normal size so that I could still feel attractive. I've lost about 30 pounds so far and I feel so much better health-wise. I'm finally no longer overweight (which I have been for years), and I've adopted a skincare routine in order to help my skin in order to make my now much more prominent face be more radiant and healthy. It was difficult for my girlfriend to get used to my short hair, not going to lie, but during my last "night" with her we were taking a shower together and she noticed how slim I got and she noted that although I definitely looked older without the hair, I definitely looked more mature and handsome. I've also been noticing a trend where after every noticeable dip in my hair, my beard comes in just a little bit thicker, and me having a pretty sharp jawline only helps accentuate that further. I'll admit, I kinda miss the younger "cuter" boy version of me, but there's no denying I look and feel so much better now, and I dont feel as tired all the time. It's strange losing my hair forced me to take care of my body, but what I got from you was that in order to feel confident again I have to work on my other facets. This was a really long comment but in a nutshell, this almost 21-year-old guy learned that there is life after balding, and that it's not nearly as bad as it seems. If anything, it helped me become a stronger person in my security with myself and I'm happy that I chose not to go down the rogaine propecia route and decided to just go ahead and cut it short. If anything, now I look in the mirror and I see a much more refined, mature-looking young man. I actually did a zero guard to almost bald the first time but my mother can't handle it because it makes her feel REALLY old for her youngest son to be already bald, so far now I just rock stubble and a 1 guard buzz. If your bald we have smp available for us something i got done, and i was already confident bald honestly but i got a bald patch of alopecia on the left side of my head in 2018 and that hit me hard like when i started to bald at 17. So i got my head done with smp and now my confidence is higher than ever.
