3 Reasons why you shouldn’t buy from cardmarket.com!
For those who don’t know, on cardmarket.com you can buy and sell game cards such as Pokemon, Lorcana, and Yu-Gi-Oh! etc.
The first reason you shouldn’t buy anything from this platform is because the platform is full of scammers.
Just look at this guy… I asked him on February 27th if he would send the order I made!
After a few days of waiting:
On February 28th and 29th, I came back, and still no answer. On March 4th I still didn’t have the tracking code…
The second reason why you shouldn’t buy from cardmarket.com is that…you are not protected from untracked orders!
Before I made the account here I had another account, on that account, I ordered 20 envelopes without tracking. Out of 20 envelopes, 18 were lost. When I contacted the cardmarket.com team they said it was impossible not to have arrived, they refunded me for a single envelope and then they banned me when I asked about the rest. They could at least put a notification or something… that these wonderful envelopes are sent at my risk and that I am not protected.
So remember… if you order envelopes without tracking and they don’t arrive… you assume the risk.
Coming back to this guy… it’s March 5th and I still don’t have the tracking code, and as you can see he says he sent the order. On March 8th he said that he didn’t receive the money… this after he marked the order as being sent and said he sent it.
In the meantime, I tried to contact the support several times but in vain… and this is how we got to reason number 3.
This is the order page… once again notice how the order does not have tracking attached but is marked as being delivered on February 28th. OK… Let’s contact support.
Ok… what is this supposed to be? Infinite redirect… so it’s impossible to contact the support team to ask for a refund. Unbelievable!!!
In the end, the seller contacted the support and I received a refund. At the same time, I asked the cardmarket.com team to check why the seller marked the product as being sold even though he did not deliver it. I asked in the same email to fix the contact form so that buyers can open a ticket when they come across a thief like this, but in vain… Cardmarket.com didn't respond. They don't care about buyers, probably that was probably also the reason why on the previous account they banned me for the simple fact that for every ticket opened I asked for a refund.
As an idea, the first 2 orders were messed up. The first order was sent to the wrong address (Here I can understand, but still it’s not my fault and I should be able to contact support and ask for a refund without having to wait 100 years), so consequently I did not receive the order, and I can’t even open a ticket at support even though I marked the order as not being received.
So my conclusion is that if the orders with tracking… were not delivered, the ones without tracking I was scammed in exactly the same way… the difference is that here I at least have proof.
So there is no support.... just lies, lies, lies!!
