That's good, sounds like it's a non-issue for you. A minority of the bikes had minor leaks from the valve covers, usually the spark plug gasket.

Some had simple oil leaks.

Awesome Bike this motorbike. Aprilia Liveries are just Stunning. I like the Tuono for comfort, I'll be keeping a eye out for that review. Aprilia own V4 1100cc not Rotax engines anyone. My friend has a rare exotic vanilla RSV 1000R 60-degree V twin based on a Rotax dry sump crankcase nearly 150 bhp an a hydraulic wet variety and has aprilia's slipper pneumatic power clutch. The back turn signals lights are smoothed into the tail with dual headlights with ram like air runner's in the middle sending cold air to the engine. He's tried selling it me but i think he will keep it an bore it out to a 1000cc plus. He's sold one before but you have to get the suspension setup. Nothing is hasn't got carbon fibre, Ohlins brembo. 🏍💪🏻

Yeah, they still sound awesome since 2009! I've heard the modified Akrapovic mufflers, I don't think they are significantly louder than the full length ones but the full length is already pretty loud.

That's a big jump. I would encourage you to a bike between the 400 and a big 1100cc V4. No doubt, the Aprilai V4 sounds the best.

I haven't seen any cooling issues with any of the 660s. Only one water pump seal on a Tuono 660 Factory, easy fix. Did you see a leak or overheating ?

@@Victor_Moto hi victor No overheating at all just a small few drops of antifreeze on the lower belly pan , I think it may have been coming from the top rad hose I’ve repositioned the clamp an run the engine to temp so I’ll try that , thank you for ur advise always top notch 👍🏻👍🏻

@gavinmeade8363 mapping is not critical. Just a performance upgrade from my experience.

I thought the same thing. I’m a pilot so I already have a stiff back and neck sometimes so I was worries. I’ll tell you this: the first 2 weeks or so, you will get uncomfortable and stiff on the bike. But once you get used to the bike, you learn how to relax your grip/posture properly and you can get very comfy. Initially I hated being on more than 30 mins. Yesterday I rode about 3 hours total and felt great.

@@808Affliction Yes. Starter motor is located under the front side of the engine. There's a wire that connects to the engine and has been found loose on a couple V4's.

@@Victor_Moto Yamahas, BMWs, Suzukis, Kawasakis. Just saying. I'm always looking for new bikes and I typically see the aprilias and Ducatis being sold the slowest. Followed by Harley, Indian and some Honda's. I got nothing against aprilias. I'm considering buying a 22 RSV4 factory with 0 miles for $19.5 from a dealer rn. But that just goes to show how much slower they sell if a dealership is discounting it by $8k to get it out the door.

Exhaust tip? This SC1R is very similar to the Akrapovic slip on including price. Full system is a very different price point.

I have the 2020 factory, I just don’t like the shape of you new bike 🤷‍♂️ it doesn’t look like a premium Italian bike to me anymore. I can’t be the only one because mine was £24k and last summer you could pick up a new 22 model for 18k which has in turn devalued my bike 😩 I’ll keep hold of mine coz it’s the last yr of the best model imo and I’m going to Ducati where the bikes still look sexy as fook! 😍

@Victor Moto Undertandable. There are lots of things I can't buy that I can't afford. That's not the bikes fault. You actually pay for performance. And it's worth every penny. And it's a better deal than all of the new M models like the R1, BMW, Kawi, Duc. Which are into the 30 and even 40k. The Ape competes w all of them for 25k. If you are indeed in the market for a boutique bike, it's the best value for the performance. That you will not get inna cheaper bike. But I understand your point.
