Great learning experience. Thank-you. I am an RF tech, not an engineer, and have taken on re-tuning Codan C-Band amplifiers after replacing O/P FETs or repairing traces. Trial and error tuning really. These videos really help in understanding the underlying theory. Again, Thanks for this.
Good job with this wonderful video. I want only highlight a mistake about the reflection coefficient. When you have an open circuit, the ZL=inf makes your Zo negligible and your reflection coefficient isn't zero, is about 1. On the oder hand the coeff is 0 when the Zo and ZL match (at 50 ohm for example).
Videos have been amazing and very insightful to the world of RF PCBs. What resources would you recommend for learning the math behind all these concepts?
Hello Phil, David Pozar's textbook Microwave Engineering is a great resource. You can find it in digital formats or in print if you look online. We'll also be posting more videos on RF PCB design, so stay tuned!
Thank you very much for new knowledges and clear explanations. Would you answer on some questions please, sorry for my bad English. How to connect, in which point\points radius stub with Ground? By what wire width or probably by vias? The same questions about connections 7 quarter wave lengths in band pass filter?
