Good on you Shannon. I left a dead end job a couple of months ago. Instead of freaking out, I bought a small yacht to spend time on, away from the city, and also to learn the ropes of a new dimension. I am looking for work sporadically, money is tight, but I have found really inventive ways to save and utilise what I have, rather than going to the shop. I just need to get out there and give, one thing I like to do is pick up rubbish from my local area.
The issue with humans is that we need to define everything...and I mean everything. This is why we have so many occupations and people who spend worthless time on studies when it all comes down to just "believing" in what you want in a positive life. I just realized that I have a tendency to not monitor my thoughts enough and need to take more time doing just that and taking more time out of the day to make sure I am focusing more attention on what I want to manifest or the conditioning of scarcity will continue to dominate my thoughts. Ok I have given SO much of myself in EVERY way and many people screwed me over EVERY time! I had no expectations but I ALSO never expected so many people spitting in my face after giving to them. Its just not true that giving gets you anything.

That's NOT what I said, I DIDNT expect to get so screwed by the same people I helped out of love. I don't care how "unconditional" that new age crap is, if someone you JUST helped turns around and stabs you in the back, it HURTS! And you feel stupid too! Now I ONLY help people I do not know but I can personally make a difference with. Like buying an old mans sub sandwich on Christmas Eve without him knowing etc. Nonetheless, nothing I have ever done has ever reaped anything in my life later. I don't expect it but I also know that you are supposed to reap what you sow, never have. THis year has been THE WORST YEAR of m ENTIRE life and all I EVER do is promote kindness and help everyone asking for nothing in return. But my life has gotten worse, not better in any way. So it is NOT TRUE!
My go to affirmation is ..All things lead to my success, wealth, & happiness No matter what. Trust me & life is really kicking me in the tush right now. But I trust there’s a purpose for it & that something good will come from it. #trusttheprocess
also I would add when you give away, give with the attitude thAT you have more than enough. they attitude or energy we have when giving also makes the difference.

I think the Universe is really trying to get my attention on this subject. For the past month or so I've come across various talks, seminars, interviews, webinars and more, all related to manifesting abundance in money. Yours, Shannon, was the most concise and motivating summary of them all. I am starting step one now, thinking about what my specific number should be, but this is where I get stuck. How do I come up with that number? Do I add up all my expenses and costs of putting my daughter through college and use that? Do I just grad a number that sounds good, something out of thin air? To make a difference in someone's life be that a human or animal is simply priceless...and that feeling, that wonderful feeling of unconditionally being one with all....It is the ultimate bliss.
BTW, when people say how badly they want more money, they don't really want more money. They want a lifestyle. Nobody wants to get more money for its own sake. No one (at least people I know) wants to get more money so they can hoard it in their closet or sleep in their bed with it. They want to be able to pay their bills, their mortgage, rent, be able to pay for their health care , their children's education, pay for a few luxuries, and save for retirement. Money is just a means to facilitate those goals.

hi...l just want u to know that I love what u said ...and I believe in the power of words....thoughts....and actions. ..however...I do have a question ...on giving...I am small business owner...I pay my employees for their work...I know I am easy going boss...I see everything...I see how they cheat on time cards things they don't do....that they suppose to do..etc...I give and give ..and noticed that my financially situation is not so good...I actually couldn't pay a few bills....how can I change things ..every day I say a positive affirmation. ....and I ask ...and ask....and nothing. ..am I doing something wrong...

Because if you give to someone just because it say's you must give and you don't really want to,then you will get what you feel. Also,if you give,and then 1 week later ask yourself "I have been giving, so why have I not received anything? If you think about it, you might have received good energy from one person,or you got a discount for something,and offer or whatever it can be Try to be allowing too, allow yourself to receive and feel good about that
"The more you give, the more you will receive"? That has never worked for me. That sounds like "luck". It may happen for others but not for all. Anyways, the best things in life, are not "things". That's what I have learned and live by even to this day. Many of you seek riches and abundance but that will not truly make you happy. You were born with nothing and you will die with nothing. Live your life with what you have and try to be positive.
To play devil's advocate, isn't this an ultimately flawed way of thinking? For example, if you are focusing on something and getting the opposite, what kind of anger will you develop towards yourself for just not thinking right. Furthermore, we can't just make reality stop being reality. Ask anybody who is a victim or has a disease. I just can't get on this bandwagon.
I could explain this to you perfectly. But, it's a long explanation because of course you have to touch every "questionable" subject. But what she is talking about is just a small parcel of the many ways to recreate reality. Very small.
+marcela I have an idea. Why dont you just try it for exactly 30 days and start small. It wont hurt you, It wont cost you money and it wont disrupt your life negatively. There is no reason for you, over the course of a month to not try this. All you have to do is ask for something you want. Think positively about it, feel good about it and show gratitude and see what happens. The key is to act like you already have it.
