Watching the suspension rise 8 inches was pretty sick!

Learned a whole lot about anti squat when designing the 4-link suspension for my Jeep. Pirate4x4 used to have a great 4-link calculator for determining how the link geometry would affect the vehicle handling. Sure that calculator could be beneficial in racing development as well.

Its amazing they could get all the antisquat they have in by the 60ft! Those nitrous cars usually 60ft in .9 of a second, if not faster! I believe if it was hittin all 8, they would have won that round! Tim McAmis builds the nicest cars out there, even for their standard car! That billet rearend is absolute work of art! The powder coating is perfect, he anodizes & rechromes parts that no one even thinks of, there titanium work is beautiful, his carbon parts are perfect! Even if the body styles are ugly as sin, LOL, but what promod isn't? Dam those aerodynamics! LOL, When you get a McAmis car, you get a car he would drive & you get every penny worth! That Reher Morrison engine is badass, most of the guys running nitrous engines are usually 90 to 125 cubic inches bigger, so if you figure cubes per cylinder, they were actually down 1 cylinder from the other guys, even when it was running on all 8! LOL, I think its a fairly new car also, so once they get everything right, I think they will do even better! People don't seem to remember the past? There were guys out there running 872s, with carburetors, on 3 kits, with a clutch & a MAN shift Liberty, running bottom 3.70s on a big dumb slick! LOL I wish them the best, hopefully they get a 3.59 with that engine!

The Buick GNX had some anti squat in the rear suspension of course nothing like that Camaro. It was fun brake boosting them on the street and people would see the rear lift on launch

*50’s and 60’s Volkswagen Trucks rear ends do the same. When you hit the gas the rear raises up. The German’s were 70 years ahead.*

I kinda have to agree with the driver on the look of the car. I have always LOVED the look of second generation Camaros but the sloped nose on this Promod body just throws off the lines of the car and makes it look kinda weird.

Abit of a stupid question, why do two of the team hold or touch the rear of the dragster during the burn out stage, then run with the car but not touching it ?
