Jon’s twin turbo LS DRIFT MISSILE of a 325is might have too much power for its own good! Will a lack of mechanical sympathy give him the edge over Sam’s daily driver? Sure, he made some modifications but he sourced the parts from other Bimmer bits… mostly. The mystery turbo and the nitrous don’t count. This race is gonna knock your socks off.

S52B32's are very underrated engines MOSTLY because they were overshadowed by the S50 and S54. And the S52 in stock form were kind of lame compared to the other two options at the time BUT throw some mods at an S52 and it is a solid contender and it sounds better. Most of the high horsepower daily driven BMW's from the 90's to early 00's are running S52's.

I'm still trying to figure out what the LS BMW was doing when he kept jabbing the gas and letting off. That last race seemed like the I6 BMW wasn't catching him. Either dude had a bad 2nd map or the LS has some other shit wrong with it.

Welded diff and angle kit gets a little scary going straight. Once 2nd gear hits boost it just spins the tires like a mofo. Also I was nervous as fuck 1st drag race ever 🤣🤣🤣

I’ve followed this car for a while and everytime I’ve asked or seen anything about it it has been an m50, not sure why he said s52 there but it was a stock block making around 600 and now it’s fully built making 800-1000+

If you are going to build up a E30, Sam's way is best. He kept it straight-six (the way god intended old bimmers to be), full interior comfort, very obviously well tuned, and it looks great.

I missed the KBforever at the beginning until seeing a commenter mention it. It is a great graphic and seeing 43i featured as well is awesome. Please extend the time a little more. Is a watermark for substantial portions of the video a possibility? I think a watermark or even a picture in picture inset of support for 43i should be featured throughout and on every video through the remander of 2023 at least.

For a stock LS1 that’s about right for safe at the wheels. The internet has tricked people into believing they can pull a random LS from the junkyard, throw some Chinese turbos on, and make a reliable 1,000 wheel while beating on it all the time.

Small ass turbos, probably built for response over power. Most likely just running 7lbs waste gate springs with no other boost control. Bet it spools fast af for low/mid range power.

The motor in it has had low oil pressure for a bit now and major blow by, the turbos we swapped brand new ones on a few days before this race. Stayed small size for quick spool and it works great for drifting which we do with it. 8psi gate pressure is what we run. Motor lost all oil pressure after this show so I have a ls3 we are swapping in along with some other plans.
