I've never seen this explained so simply in away I can completely understand. It's so well organized and edited. Also as for the character profiles I think there really cute! But if you take awhile to do them the why not do them every other video? You'll have 2x the time to work on it.

Duudeee this Guy is sooo undereted! Your explanation was so easy to follow and really compact ! I really need to study this! And the character is so cute but with the history men! Is sooo good! Honestly I love the idea u have but maybe separate character creation this deep for there separate video and the art tutorial for other, I love dose but maybe u can do more like a draft of a character and later do a video more deep dive of there lore and stuff, so u can made this kind of video ones or twice at month and do other proyect less time consuming on the rest of the month ? Maybe just some ideas!

I was surprisingly able to understand shadows more from this video and I also enjoyed the stories/background you create for your characters so it'll be unfortunate if you do remove that side of your videos, but nonetheless I would continue watching your videos!!!!

Great video, I would suggest splitting the next one into two separate videos... It seems like the algorithm would benefit from this and you could rest a bit between posts. Amazing work, keep it up!

that moment when you've been trying to figure out how to make a 3d animation software render in 2d for so long that you forget that the word "render" exists in regular artwork too, and you get excited by a thumbnail that looks like the perfect end result, so you click it only to find out it's a regular art video 😅

really love the explanation of shadows! i've never formally studied them, but this really helped it make sense to my brain :3 i never even considered the concept of indirect light tbh, so you kinda expanded my worldview after telling me that there's two light sources in most pieces!! i think another comment has said it here, but you could divide the character creation throughout videos, so you don't have to finish it all in one video. that way you can reuse the same character for a couple videos and also not have the burden of the whole process at once. can't wait for the next upload!

nice tutorial mate, very helpful only thing i could say is to lower the background music volume a bit next time. its about the same volume as ur voice which can be distracting at times
Thanks mate! Really appreciate it 😄 and also for the tips, I will take note to that. I have actually set the music 10+ dB lower than the voice, and the voice is amped up 3dB. I havent 😔... i was given a free ver of his classes by a good friend of mine.. but i decided to not continue it. I want to support the artist directly when I have my own income. As of now, i just took some video floating around youtube and learn from em 😅
I explained the full steps on my orange girl... but here's the shortcut! 1. Tap "lock transparent pixels" on your shadow layer 2. Select certain area, like the skin, shirt, etc, using the color layer as the selection layer. 3. After you've selected the parts, go back to the shadow layer... select other colors you want, for an example a reddish brown for the skin, and then press "alt + delete". This will replace every color in your shadow layer, the one that is being selected, into that color. The "lock transparent pixels" is chosen so that the opacity of your shadow remains intact, and the fill command doesn't slap your selection with solid color. 4. Basically repeat the process for other parts. 5. Then later on you can also adjust them using "ctrl + U".
I'm sorry if it is causing you trouble, you can try to turn on the captions if some parts are unclear. I've made sure the music is low enough in my computer, somehow in some devices it appear louder than it was. I will take note to set it even lower in the next video. Thank you for your suggestion 🥰
