Agreed, looks like someone has to first buy the Amazon item then create a short video and hopefully numerous people will watch and purchase that Amazon item.
Amazon video reviews: don't you need to purchase the product to be able to demonstrate it in your review video? That can be expensive...unless I'm missing something here.
You make all this sound so easy, but you omit a lot the details for what is required to get started. Especially with the Amazon Influencer. You made it sound like you just sign up and start posting videos on products. There is a lot more to it than that. For being so misleading, you've lost my interest and the possibility of a new subscriber.
Thank you OMG this is hax Edit: Dude I am absolutely enraptured with the no-BS approach here. Pure quality, unfiltered, preprocessed, proven and sincere. No hype. I really appreciate this. Blam that Bell
The problem is the amazon programme doesn't let you sign up or get approved unless you have a decent following on social media. Do you know of any loop holes around this?
Some people have started Instagram accounts, posted a bunch of stuff and used follow/unfollow bots to get subscribers quickly. There’s a risk you’ll get your account banned, so only do it on a an Insta account you don’t care about, just to meet Amazons requirements. In the meantime you can start making review vids so once you’re accepted you have the content ready. I have a more in depth vid on the Amazon influencer program coming out shortly.
@@samuel-b-me Yea, but you have to post the videos to your social media followers, right? ..and you only get paid if THEY click and buy something, right?
Surely you can't do video reviews without purchasing the product? To earn the most you'd have to review high ticket items and that means you're spending several hundred dollars a go, just to make one video
Greetings and appreciation from Rome 🇮🇹 Samuel❣️ I was born in Sydney, left as an infant and unfortunately have never been back to Australia as an adult.. All the best with this new YT channel (I dream of starting one). I'll be watching! Absolutely love your 'tone', content and video editing style.. perhaps you could share your YT journey with us (and teach it)!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment and for your kind words. I was born and gre up in Sydney but escaped during Covid. Glad you’re enjoying my new channel, lots more content in the works. As things progress I will do some YT journey vids. You should start a channel. I’ve got a handful of them now. They definitely require commitment and pushing through when you feel nobody is watching. Worthwhile in the long run though if you enjoy the process.
I was wondering the same thing too. Is the key to buy the items that don’t have videos and then make the videos? The other question is how do you make sure Amazon publishes that video?
Thanks! Yes, I’ve got a video coming out in the next week or so that dives deeper into the Amazon Influencer Program. It will show you step by step how to get started along with addressing some issues you may encounter. Keep your eye out for that one.
Which one? I know people making a really good living from the Amazon Inflencer Program. And I know drop servicing works because I’ve used it to run a business myself. If you’ve had a negative experience with one of these hustles please elaborate so that we can learn from you. Cheers!
It’s just outsourcing. You would be surprised how many businesses operate this way! (I was surprised). I would always suggest building a solid knowledge on the service you’re offering first though. That way you can adequately manage the projects/clients yourself and outsource all the labour intensive or specialist tasks.
Just wait until your "drop serviced" client requires support. That should be fun. For more reliable income, create RU-vid videos touting vague side hustle ideas.
Sorry if I missed that detail! Google Amazon influencer program. You sign up and it gives you your own dashboard to upload vids. You do need a social media following before they approve you. I don’t believe they say how many followers you need, I was approved with about 4000 on Instagram. Hope that helps!
@@samuel-b-me it means you also need yhe actual product to make a video for it right? or theres another way where i just can generate video withouy having the actual product?
@@kristiankevindimaculangan7953 im completely new to this idea as well, so im not an expert, but i DID recently watch a vid that basically says this: purchase the item, do the review, then send it back for a refund. Shady as hell, but im not against it, at least starting off
It really is! I signed up this morning to jump on board before it gets too saturated. Just gotta find the time now to start pumping out the reviews :) Thanks for the comment BTW!
@@samuel-b-me Ok but how do you do it? Sign up how? It's not the influencer thing, is it? I only have a following on YT, and I don't want to put Amazon videos on my channel.
Hmmm, I’m not 100% certain on this. It looks like it is only English speaking for now. Amazon lists the influencer program as being available in USA, Uk, Canada and India. Does your region have a language specific Amazon? If so check it out and see if there are any video reviews in the regions language. The Spanish version of Amazon has product videos in Spanish, but it doesn’t look like there’s any user review videos. BUT, they may expand the program, so keep it in your mind and check its availability in your region regularly. That way if they expand to to include your region/language you can be an early adopter and make a killing!
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP AND GREAT ADVICE SIDE HUSS I AM GRATEFUL TO LEARN A LOT FROM JUST WATCHING AND LISTENING TI YOU. BLESS YOU, IT ALL COMES BACK GET WHAT YOU PUT OUT
You do need access to the items to review. First I recommend looking around your house for anything available on Amazon that you can review. If you don’t come up with much, ask friends & family if you can borrow some things they own. If you still can’t find anything then buy it, review it and return it or sell it. Once you start making $$ then invest some of it into buying items to review.
Have you signed up for the Amazon influencer program? This gives you access the a creator hub where you manage and upload review videos. I’ve got a video coming out next week showing step by step how to do it.
No, don’t use someone else’s TIN. Are you based in the USA? If you live outside the USA you need to complete a w-8ben form. Not sure exactly where to get it, try googling it.
