ik this could prob help a lot of u guys but this is what helped me to strike irons and everything pure: so basically the first thing is to have the ball mostly closer to your left foot (for righties) or right foot (for lefties) and then always keep your head and left eye (for righties) or right eye (for lefties) behind the ball at all times. then bring ur whole lower body through and it strikes pure every time the next one is something that generates more power, and what you have to do is when ur setting up to the ball, lean back and bounce off of ur outside foot once, and its kinda like weight transfers, and then on the next one lean back and when ur moving ur lower body to hit the ball, you lean forward and do that with the first hack and u strike it pure every damn time hoped this helped

Help! I was playing last week and the first couple of holes I had a fade with every iron. Taking your advice and played with it rather than try to fight it on the course. However when I started aiming left to use the fade I started missing left AND right. Any suggestions?

Subconscious bias? You aimed left so your brain tried to compensate producing a different result? Worth consciously trying to produce a draw and a fade repetitively to gain familiarity with the feel. I alternate between this and half shots just to hone in on consistency of contact. Don't forget, golf is hard! Keep at it mate.

Ive been hitting irons alot lower than normal. Anything from 4 iron or 3 iron is now unplayable because they are so low. Im assuming im reducing dynamic loft or holding the angle. I started feeling like i was actively releasing and hit some really nixe high 3 irons but felt almost scoopy. Any tips or previous videos of yours you can direct me to?

I know this is a little late and you’ve prob figured it out by now but that sounds like you’ve got either a really high angle of attack where you are actually hitting UP on the ball or are just hitting it thin. If you’ve got a high angle of attack, feel like you are moving your chest ever so slightly forward in the downswing or move the ball further back in your stance. If hitting it thin make sure your staying down on the ball and keeping your head in the same position. Another thing that might help is feeling like your “squatting” on the downswing, rather than standing up. I know he says you want to straighten your left leg through impact which is correct, but only works if you keep your hips in the same position throughout the entire swing

Yes. Cause the position of the ball is different(wedges in the middle and the longer the iron the more it moves to the left foot). And you don't want to hit so much down on the ball with,for example 4 iron, where as with wedges you hit relatively alot down on it.

I think most of this golf teaching pro online tend to copied each other's some are quite thorough about how they teach the game and most of them just keep on repeating them self, you can play the game doesn't mean you can teach there is a lot of rubbish on line.
