On Moto Control channel you will find videos about motorcycles, motorcycle riding techniques, tips & tricks and online motorcycle training for beginner and advanced riders!
A little info about me. My name is Andrei Bodrov, originally I'm from Moscow, Russia, and now I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Back in Moscow I was a motorcycle instructor and creator of Moto Control Beginner & Advanced motorcycle rider courses, which quickly became the most popular courses in Moscow (well, at least the advanced one😁). My advanced training course makes emphasis on slow speed riding techniques at first (such as good clutch and throttle control, proper riding posture, proper use of vision, etc.), then proceeds to more advanced techniques (such as aggressive braking, trail braking, maximal lean angle). The course incorporates a lot of exercises from DOSAF slow speed riding (similar to police rodeo like motorcycle training in USA), braking and cornering exercises and motogymkhana style riding. And now, since I actively learn English - I decided to post some useful videos for both your and mine practice!😉
🏍️🏍️🏍️
Since everyone writes this, it's necessary, I suppose 🤷, so here we go. Disclaimer: Ride at your own risk, you are responsible for your own safety. Me, Andrey Bodrov and my channel, Moto Control disclaim any liability incurred in connection with the use of riding techniques from this channel. Use common sense, wear full protective gear and ride in a safe and predictable manner!

Good day, hope all is well. Thank you for this video. May I ask, how much do you practice the first exercise before moving on to the second and so on? Thank you.
@MotoControlEn
@MotoControlEn 10 месяцев назад
Hi! The simple answer is until it becomes easy for you😉 However, it's different for different students. On average it takes around 1 hour of practice in class until a student becomes fairly proficient with it, then we move on to different exercises, but return to the first one from time to time.

Andre, thanks for such a good video. I have a 1985 Honda Goldwing 1200cc and I practice one hour at the train station parking lot every Saturday and Sunday, having more than 250 hours over 5 years. I have an injury that really bothers me turning right so that is what I am practicing Saturday. Soon should be able to turn lock to lock but recently I suffered a stroke, plus heart surgery, and with this 950 pounds bike I sure don't want to drop it! But I will use the way you are doing turns here to practice this coming weekend.

@@MotoControlEnHey Andrej, I love your videos. No ego, no BS, just useful advise every time. BTW I always wanted to visit your country and my dream is actually to ride a motorcycle from Vladivostok to Kiev. Then have a little rest, jump in a Russian tank and cruise all the way to Lisbon where I could give a helping hand to all the refugees from Great Britain. There won't be many of them. Most of their compatriots will be sleeping with the fishes because their little island will be submerged into the Atlantic.

I just came across your channel by coincidence. Great stuff. I'll be practicing this balancing exercise a lot. Seems like a good challenge and good fun, and useful. One thing I like to see in videos that convey a lot of information is having a few bullet points overlayed on the screen or a summary at the end of the video or of each section. I feel this results in the best learning effect. Also, at 05:43 - that's a great demonstration of countersteering Anyway, looking forward to more videos.

And from America. Therefore, im short and have a VERY hard head. Appreciate u. Fuck all the haters. Ur balance and skill just make the haters get triggered. 🤣🫡 Hopefully we can all get along😂. Just learning about aleksandr dugan too. Strange times over here “in the land of the free” These clowns over here think they know shit, yet pay people to do everyrhing for them Damn shame. Hopefully im just being paranoid and everything is gonna be fine. But my “spidey sense” is tellin me shit bout to burn down. Fuck em all Thank u for the tips.

Andrew, thank you so much for your videos, for your style and mostly for all the info you bring to us. I have an F800R, fuel injection - which is new for me (I had a CS 600 15 years ago). Getting back to riding after such a brake is a little more difficult than I thought. Your videos help. Question: while doing the slow riding exercises, do you apply the front brake, in order to keep that slow speed?
