I like the network 2 for my customer café warehouse situation....would be great...at the moment she has had several people involved and I want her to start from scratch...all most equipment as shown in your scenario from Unifi....there is one item she wants to keep and that is a Telldus Znet Lite for control over the lighting etc....how would you add that in to this system with access to internet etc that can't be accessed from guests etc...?
hi Morgan, thanks for another nice video with nice examples from the real world use, i just wondered about you choosing the G3 Bullet when the G4 is available, i'm in this dilemma - adding 2 cameras (g3 bullet/ flex or g4), so i'm looking for your answer and consideration
I chose the G3 mostly because for the setups I showed, we were working with limited storage space for the recordings. The main draw to the G4 is the 4K recording, and since I would only do 1080p to maximize recording storage, I would save some money and get the G3's.
The UDM pro is much more powerful than the USG and has a built in cloud key, so to speak. So if you are going to have a bigger network with more devices and more users, it can make sense to throw that UDM in there.
