Beautiful interpretations. The pianist, Roberto Poli, is just incredible. Liszt really gets at the heart of Petrarch’s sonnets. One set of masterpieces begets another set of masterpieces.
Wonderful interpretation of these fine Liszt works. It saddens me to think that many who hear Liszt often put more attention to the technical aspects of his works, and don’t often put much attention to the vast range of musicality and emotion his works have to offer.
