progression is really cool #9s, b5s, slash chords, augmented chords, been looking for some good examples on how to contextualize these sounds in a style i think sounds good. also there’s a small misnomer 6:12 is an Amin but whatever
Thanks for helping me reach 100K subscribers, it’s been a journey, I'm super grateful for all of the support over the years! Also regarding this video, apologies for the lighting towards the end, I had crazy technical difficulties which resulted in a few retakes in different lighting. I really didn’t feel like recording it again from the top! I can’t lie lol...hope you enjoy the video!
Just in case you are confused like me: The song is actually in F and not in C major. You start on the V dominant and go back to the I chord which is F major. If you are not into chord theory at all just listen for yourself: the C7 Chord and the C major chord in the intro do not feel fully released. A full release comes when he moves to F, which happens to be the I chord in that progression. Anyways, really nice and smooth sounding progression, thanks a lot for that one!
Damn! Stephan plays the tastiest chord progressions! Any time I feel blue I just pull out the Midi Keys and play Stephan's H.E.R simple progression. You can play around all day with that one. Definitely going to add this one!
Oooo those chords tho!!! Love it!! I need to cop me a mini midi controller soon. To stick with M-Audio Code or to cop Komplete's gear... hmm lol Congrats again on reaching 100k Subscriber!!! #MyTeamWinning 🔥🙌🏾🎉 Bless!!! 🎹💙🖖🏾
Hey there Stefan, would you mind doing a video on how to structure chords for verse, pre-chorus- chorus. I'd like to understand if there are certain inversions or extensions to use on certain parts.
Hiii!! Such a nice progression and cool video🐱🌸 It was a little confusing for me tho when i read for example Eaug with E G# and C instead of E, G# and Bx, but it's just a detail hehe🐈 thanks for your videos!!🌸🐱
Mr. Stefan I do like your sound tracks and love the Chord progressions ,,thank you very much !! Where do you get your drum tracks ? if I may ask ? Thank you again Teddy !!
Hey stefan, I purchased your chord pack and it's fabulous man, thanks for the quality MIDI pack! By the way, I'm stuck with making different chord progressions in each different sections (verse, chorus, bridge etc). Is there any tips to generate different chord progesstions at each different section in one song from the chrod progressions (each contain 4 chords in average) in the MIDI Pack?
I've been studying theory and harmony theory and the progression sound nothing like this. all the books and classes say to pick 4 chords for pop. What can I study or where should I look for instruction on how to create complex progressions like this?
Indeed, made a mistake typing it out, watched it three times before making it live and still didn’t notice it. My bad. That’s the problem with proofing your own work!
