I definitely have started using skin care prior to applying makeup after watching you for a while. It is totally made a difference in the appearance of my makeup. I still feel like all foundation emphasize my pores, But not as badly as before.

I been using moisturizer on my face for years yes there’s a difference in my skin without using moisturizer before foundation

Oh my gosh!!! I do that under eye massage too and I have no puffing either.

I see just as many rough areas on both sides. It may feel different as far a dryness but overall, they both look nice. Never hurts to take care of your skin.
