So, you are currently a Quantity Surveyor outside of the United Kingdom but want to work
in the UK?
Well, in order to do so, there are a few things you need to do…
1) You will need to obtain a working Visa but firstly, to get one of these, your profession
needs to be on the UK’s ‘skilled workers list’ -
Luckily, Quantity Surveyors are on the UK’s ‘skilled workers list’ which makes qualified Quantity Surveyors from international countries eligible for a working Visa!

2) You need to have a job offer from a company that’s been approved by the Home
Office - they will become your ‘sponsor’
3) You need to have been offered at least the minimum salary for the type of work
you’ll be doing
