I have rayhaan and FW proud of your absolute. In comparison, rayhaan is a less sweet "POY" with a strong skin note (the skin is slightly acidic). A great fragrance. Sometimes I applied them together.

Your analysis about Al Layl ("The Night" in Arabic) is correct : it leans feminine, the reason being it's a YSL "Black Opium" clone. After my wife confirmed what it smelled like, i was utterly disappointed 😂

I really thought you would be more into summer oud. Definitely give it a chance on skin. Ive been wearing it, marj, laathani and blue oud throughout the summer. I get really big dose of bright geranium from summer oud, almost like a really nice scented candle? I find all the Ahmed stuff to be such an experience, and wear completely different off skin, clothes, hair etc

@@PostColognemaybe try it on a cooler evening, but I've been loving it around 30 Celsius even. Like i said, I get like heavy soapy florals with the oud and some spices. Got some on a cotton anorak and smells very different than off skin

Curious if you've tried Marj or laathani yet? Those are probably my two favourites from the house so far, but have loved everything I've been able to try from AAM.
