I too have lost all my vision in my left eye and have restricted vision in my right due to a brain tumour😢

I’m so sorry to hear about your brain tumour. That’s a lot to deal with. Stay strong (easy for me to say, I know, I get it) and try to enjoy the things you “can” do. I’m also trying to do that, but I also know how hard it is. Hopefully you will get some enjoyment, watching me navigate this road. I understand that your journey is extremely hard, and I hope you try one or two of my ideas to help you gain some joy/fun/peace/inspiration, going forward. What were/are your hobbies? What can you still do? Take care. 👍🏻🙏

Oh right that is sad so you have gone through it too I lost my sight due to the tumour squashing the optic nerve I can't drive because of seizures I am on epilepsy tabs I was told I was close to losing all the sight in my right eye I just had surgery in time for them to save some sight in my right I'm with the blind society I think k I will have to have audio books I turned it down before but I miss reading I will look into audio thank you for the chat look forward to more videos😊

Thank-you for your lovely reply I used to love reading and walking. Miles with my dogs but can't do that no more without help as my vision is really bad had one brain tumour meningioma removed in 2020 ten hour surgery then while in hospital was told already had a 2nd one which they won't operate on so life is hard and I really struggle with my sight more than anything it really affects me as I'm a lot more dependant on my husband but I try remain positive how did you lose your vision if you don't mind me asking ❤

I lost the sight in my left eye, through a detached retina and a hole in the macula. I now only have sight through my right eye (-14) but I have to wear a patch over my bad eye (which I only do, in order to be legal to drive) otherwise I have double/triple blurred vision…. I have had quite a bit of support from the blind society and I use gadgets in the house. I also listen to audio books, being an avid reader. I love listening to the books, I still love escaping into that world. I help a few of my friends out with pet sitting too, there is a lot to be said for the therapy a pet can give you.
