I am planning my exit now. I rented a storage locker. I am moving small things out a bit at a time. Being careful not to attract any attention from neighbors. The rest I will buy new. The bed and mattress is on the way. I am saving for all the deposits I will need for myself and 2 dogs. I plan to move to another town and start over. Ditch my current cel phone and just start over-giving myself the time I need to heal and grow in the Lord. I will fly below the radar for the duration. Changing everything-rebuilding my hobbies and help others as God wills. I am exercising great caution at the moment. My narc decimated my finances-so all I can do is save up enough to go-I will walk away from everything else. I am no longer in his war without any weapons. I just need time to remove the shrapnel. Just been going through this myself... after my nex told me he is in love (after only a few days of knowing the new supply) God told me "they are on their best behaviour now". Things may change soon. Because there was no change in them. I give the new supply 1-1,5 year before she starts having side effects like confusion, trauma, dissociation, just the way I did.

I lived with a narcissist just last month he discarded me you can imagine how I feel I'm in my 70s it feels like I just want to call up in a hole and die that's what it feels like I lost all my life I drank 55 years with him so I wouldn't feel the pain that I was going through with him but I didn't know what it was until now I want to thank you very much Dave 😢

He popped back up last November after close to 4 years and acted like we ended on good terms (cheated then went 👻). He wanted to spontaneously drive to me and take me out for a ‘drink’. He just assumed that he has lifetime access to me 😂😂 The audacity. I assume that he was 1) broke and needed help 2) wanted to energy vamp off me or 3) both. He didn’t mention the intention or no sincere well-articulated apology was offered.

Currently in the thick of a divorce to a narc. Two kids, house, everything. Thought I was living a fairy tale for years with how good I had it. Little did I know what was headed my way…cheating, lies, gaslighting, manipulation, etc. The anxiety and depression are so overwhelming and I can’t think straight. Worst part is I let her run our financials our entire marriage and I never took the time to learn how to manage money or do things like taxes. Embarrassing to admit at 37 but here I am. I’ve come to terms that I have codependent tendencies and it’s made the whole situation that much worse. I feel so lost and I’m extremely fearful of building a new life for myself while being a good father.

I recently tried to reconcile with my partner because he told me he was a new changed man and wanted me to have the first chance to be with the new improved him. I went back and within 24 hours he was back to abuse and even asked me what my housecleaning schedule was going to be? I left again … 3 weeks later his new girlfriend filmed me picking up my belongings left in a mess from his driveway. They are truly sick , cruel people. I was faithfully married to this man for 22 years. This is how he punished me for leaving. Now I have to go to court to get money because he has all of it and won’t give me even half. His children are watching his behaviour and are disgusted . It’s painful for me but I see who he is now. It wasn’t me !

One can only hope she gets payback for destroying my son and my family ànd taking a married man, a very sick married man.

I finally figured out i was in a relationship with a Covert Narcissist a couple weeks ago. There were dozens of camouflage flags telling something is not right about this woman. Like having to unfriend some of my lady friends on Facebook or validating i love her numerous times a day (funny how she didn't have to initiate the i love you, just me) ect... But there was a giant red flag the size of a Garrison one and that was her rage! It was like reasoning with a young child and i never had kids, so l would just leave and get the "you're abandoning me and a real man would stay and protect me" then the throwing of objects (nothing more solid than a tennis ball). I walked out but her character attacks on me and flaunting her amazingly quick new supply brought me to me knees. In short she manipulated me into doing everything you shouldn't do when dealing with a narcissist even after i left her. But thanks to you im learning and healing.

They fall in lust often it's the pathology of the shallow ! The newest infatuation, and it's planned distraction you said that , precisely and it's key to our peace and thank God our greatest satisfaction ! Which is something they cannot percieve , as they refuse to acknowledge they exist only to deny their defeat ! They manipulate third party perceptions, for a false sense of power as if they can control reality ? That's a life of futility !

We were not naive, We know about morals and authenticity and love. But we were in the biggest lie, Nothing was real. Never blame yourself. Evil will not prevail. God saw and heard everything, The Almighty said enough is enough and pulled us out and just in time for most of us, Our lives and souls were at risk. Even the new supply is getting older i think, he said that Kim Kardashian is old, 40,when i got 40,exactly that date he discarded, on my birthday and acted like a spoiled child. I did not even want to be treated like a royal on my birthday, i wanted some distinctive behaviour, i was yelled and screamed after three years of abuse. I should have get rid of this person after 4 months of lovebombing.

My Narc every time I bought something for myself she would ask me why I’m spending money, but when she used to buy stuff for herself and I asked her ,she would always answer,money comes, money goes😂😂😂

I really don't feel sorry for the new supply because they knew our ex was with us in relationship but they chose to participate in the show so they get their reward! 🗑️

I remember my ex use to always have to have some vice 24x7. He garnered a ton of admiration when he posted that he was now "sober" because he stopped drinking... yet he turned to weed and became addicted to smoking and being high all the time. I'm seeing all the comments like "Wow man you're and inspiration!" "Good job bro! Proud of you! etc. and I'm just sitting there like oh yea if you all only knew he's addicted to smoking now and threatening my life behind closed doors calling me horrid names etc. Suchhhh an inspiration lol. It is absolutely insane to see how they manipulate the outside world. I just kept my mouth shut because I know God eventually exposes them.

He won money lied Caught him talking to someone he called "mom" he gave all his flying monkeys money and the new supply, even though he got gambling numbers from me.. isn't that wicked

So true Dave,they are horrible with $$, I've been apart from my husband of 12 years after he brutally discarded me back in May 2023. I found the statement of a maxed out credit card after he left, he makes good $ these days and there is absolutely no reason why he would do that. He had been having sex with the secretary from his work, I found this out after he left (it took less than 48 hours for me to figure this out). I started researching after he left the way he did and found that not only is he a covert Narcissist but he also borders on Sociopath traits😈 Thanks for the topic of the next supply because sometimes my mind plays tricks on me,thinking he will change for the better. This is true, the new supply (in some cases) does get it worse. For ex., my narc ex-friend's last friend abruptly cut them off for toxicity. No matter how kind I was to the narc, they eventually cut me off in the same exact manner, which let me know they were still hurting over being cut from the last friend. So in a way, they took their power back by doing it to someone else.

The first few comments about the Narc not missing you and ghosting you,those have been my thoughts. I didn't believe that this man I married was in that mindset(he's hiding the woman he's cheating on with,thinks I don't know). But, we'll see....

I saw a recent picture of the narc and new supply after 2 years together. She fr looked unhappy and tired! Meanwhile I just got engaged to one of my best friends and have a genuine connection-after time to work on myself and to enjoy being alone.

I was once the new supply , So he thought. 2 months and I broke up with him after telling him everything I knew about who he is. I was BRUTAL. Gave him proof of all his lies. I told him who he was and how him being abused as a child go him there. I told him , IM SORRY. IM NOT YOUR MOTHER. GOOD BYE. Yes. It’s time for the new supply to be like WTH.. What I do know is. I’m NOT INTERESTED. DONT TRY TO BRING YOUR RAGITY ASS BACK OVER HERE.

The narcissist's idea of charity is using gift-giving to make themselves look good. Their greatest skill is repeating back to you what you want to hear and their second-greatest skill is projecting their own faults onto you to devalue you. Neither of those involves any creativity. At some point, the new supply is going to go, "Wait. What is going on? Why is this person so robotic? Is this a Stepford Spouse? Is this person for real?" And of course we all know the answer to that.

"Complaining about the money he spent on me" part is so true. Except he worded it as "what about all the money I wasted on you.." I used to pay for my meals when we went out, my tickets when we went to places, etc and even paid for his at times, I don't know what he paid for. He never even bought me flowers and I was with him for three years (on and off aka discard and hoover). It literally made my heart sink because it was one of the biggest lies.

I was married to one for 8 years. It ended in him starting a family while still being married to me. I tell my testimony to let someone know you can make it. I often STILL fight with rejection and abandonment but God is still healing me in that area. Allow God to continue to heal you and don’t look back. I have to admit-I prayed for him for over 15 years (even while we dated) and he never changed. That was my red flag that he was in a reprobated state but I STILL ended up marrying him. I honestly think he might just be happy with who he left me for. But I know that’s also an illusion. Keep fighting and keep healing! ❤❤❤❤

Listen to Dave's learning about sociopaths and about just being careful because even after my marriage to a narcissist that wasn't my last narcissist and I got into a relationship shortly after my son died because he knew him in the Christian program he was in and I was very vulnerable and I fell for it even though I saw red flags because it was so quick but we were engaged to be married ( in which I had no intention of doing bc I needed to figure out how to get out) this one almost killed me and I'm suffering the physical consequences to this day. I was married to a narc for 30 years. After he abandoned me I saw the puzzle pieces come together and realized the only thing I did wrong was trust him but he wanted worshipping. These people are their own god and want to be your god too. Mine couldn’t stand anything less than perfection in all realms of our life. Even a crumb left on a kitchen counter would send him into a rage. He claimed to be a Christian but admitted he hated people. I saw him do random acts of mean things to others and then gloat over their misery. He planned his exit out of our marriage and literally robbed us without me knowing it. He would future fake, pathologically lie about anything I asked him about. I didn’t realize he was lying about so many things until he was gone. I wasn’t a Christian when I married him but became saved about 15 years after our marriage and things definitely declined after that. Clearly spiritual warfare. Hey Dave, just wanted to say I'm so thankful for this channel. I feel like this channel is the best at educating about narcissists along with spreading the word of God. Your channel brought me back to God. I could never thank you enough for that. I still miss the narcissist terribly but I trust God to heal me. My goal right now is just to not contact the narcissist. I tell myself it's natural to miss him, but as long as I just don't contact him, everything will be okay and I'll get over him one day. I'm so glad you share the message for people who have been tricked by the devil/narcissist. You are truly ahead of your time with this type of knowledge and the messages you share.

Today was the day that I grabbed what I could and I finally excepted the disregard and I left, and on the way there, the new supply was sitting in the driveway, and I felt no anger for him. I only felt pity because I knew that the process wasn’t over, and she didn’t have any interest in healing, but on the opposite end, I understood that I can heal me that my new objective is to separate myself from the chaos to accept growth. she made getting my things difficult, but I was able to do so eventually and I grabbed what I could and I left. I am in fear of the future, but only because it is unknown but now I understand what my boundaries are and I refuse to give them up for anyone.

A lot of things you said in this video explains a lot about my narc ex. She has filed bankrupcy with 2 different men! I am glad that she dumped me in May and I have been in radio silence since. Her own family laughed behind her back calling her " high Maintenence". It's funny that everytime we went out she always had to include her mother or friend. She has to work a lot of OT at work, she is spending as fast as she earns it.

Best ever clip I watch on narcissist and the aftermath fiasco.... The keeping up appearances, after 10 days of the breakup I was replaced. She's now the new cupcake on the pedalstill. When asked how is it possible for you to move on so fast... Reply was I am not with holding my happiness because of your issues. My issues was his disrespect... 10 months later the cracks are showing and Mr Narc is trying harder to make believe he is at the happiest place of his life. Diforced twice because of martial affairs

During the lovebombing phase, I had this gut feeling that something was wrong when she started just talking only about herself and showing me over and over tons of her photos. Something was off, as I had been around people like this before. I should have listened to that feeling, because it inevitably became all about her. As soon as I tried to stand up for myself or set boundaries, it was turned around on me. She ended up using the same method of triangulation to end our relationship. I haven't spoken to her since May, though I have painshopped since. Still, things are better, but I do now find myself wondering if all those gut feelings I had that she was physically cheating on me were correct.

With social media, memes, and the spreading knowledge of gaslighting and narcissism the past few years…i talk to a lot of women who say things like “my ex was a narcissist”, and i can tell that they know some of the traits of a narcissist….yet it normally doesn’t take long that a lot of these very same people display very high signs of narcissism themselves.
