The juice is finally loose after 38 years with Michael Keaton returning as the infamous Beetlegeuse. Some new faces are also joining the franchise such as Jenna Ortega and Willem Dafoe.
Beetlejuice 2 picks up years after the events of the first film. Lydia Deetz, now an adult, is haunted by Beetlejuice once again when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife.
The Deetz family faces a new set of challenges as they try to navigate their lives with the mischievous ghost back in their midst.

Such a shame the first one was so simple and that’s what made it great, you’d think after 36 years of adding a sequel to a classic they’d actually try to write something nice for the fans. I’m shocked Michael Keaton and the other actors that came back didn’t say anything when they were reading there lines, like how cow this is bad writing

I liked the movie a lot, if you liked the original this one lives up to it! I thought for being so far apart in release both movies blend quite well which is hard to do 36 years later! Highly recommend!

@@travisclymer4481 honestly, I would say that the first 25 to 30% of it sucked… Then the middle 30 to 35% was decent at best… Then the last remainder of it totally sucked. The ending scene was just… What the fuck? There was so much from about the last 20 minutes onward that didn’t make sense.

It was okay not the best but okay, most things were cool but it wasn’t really funny it was kinda a painful funny. I think everyone is kinda exaggerating on it being good. But hey they did what they could, to me it just seemed extremely rushed and a lot of jokes fell flat but that’s okay.

This movie sucked. It had a “NICE FUCKING MODEL!” But it relied too much on cringe humor and running gags. I gave it a C- because the plot was predictable as hell (no pun intended), and I saw the combination of tortured Winona Ryder and predictably emo Jenna Ortega from a mile away.

Nah, that’s pretty practical. Stop motion for the sand worm. All the deaths of the guys being sucked to death was straight from the older movie in style. Even the set pieces. It was real noticeable

spoiler alert absolute snore fest and disappointing. the ex wife plot goes no where, and they spent the first hour setting up the characters for wayyyy too long. michael keaton and catherine o hara are the only parts worth watching, loved bob though oh and willem dafoe was a delight
