You said you are going to change to the rathalos mail. Maybe you should consider the Odogaron Mail with 2x CE on it, with that you can get to CEx5 which should be better then the 3rd and 4th point in WEx.

difference between these two weapon : LBG : -high mobility when moving and aiming large mons.. but not so high damage.. HBG : -a combination between LBG and GL.. more powerful damage and can easy take out large mons but suffers on mobility.. thats my opinion anyway...
@@kuruverse Hellfire cloak is definitely coming! At least going by the released details of the announcement. I’m crossing my fingers that you’re right about the arm braces getting blast. I was able to put blast element on my basarios chest plate and greaves. I’d assume the developers wouldn’t want artillery builds to lack access to blast, especially if Magnamalo is going to get weapons of his own. Also blast being a status ailment would at least mean being only for impact phial CBs that have to use artillery to get the most out of their weapon type.
@@grzegorzkoski515 Offensive guard is what I hope to get on drift smelts eventually lol. CB is just one of those weapons that need skills to stack in my opinion. I’ve had decent experience with artillery on Teo’s CB, but that’s more so I think due to it being an impact weapon and not the status ailment. But blast’s explosions and artillery’s damage causing stagger helps to play more aggressively. Stacking offensive gaurd on top of consistent phial buff damage from artillery would be good imo. I just like that type of play style personally. I know it’s technically probably not the most efficient, but with how heavy an emphasis there is on elemental builds right now and that getting to late game means already having elemental builds, I don’t mind it.
And just like that, with Teostra and Magnamalo, water element actually became relevant!😏😉 Excited to see how the heavy bowgun will work! I main SnS and LBG, so my LBG sets should be mostly compatible with HBG.🤔😉
I'm curious as to how the crit build on the water DB working for you. I built a water 5, burst 3, power prolonger 2 and it works quite well. Just curious why you decided to go crit over burst.
why rathalos mail? odogaron chest will get ur CE to lvl5 which is 5% more affinity overall and also always works (i know u'll try to hit weak spots but CE works there too)
as someone who just started like 2 months ago, been trying to grind alot of basarios because gunlance, sad I can't use tracker to get it anymore because I don't seem to get alot of deserts where I am for some reason... it's alot of forrests and swamps
The website was updated to make it that they will only temporarily dissappear for the tracker! So youll be able to track them again once you complete the urgent quest :)
@@PauwerPlays I see the appeal behind magnamalo, but it really represents the "monster vs anime" mechanics that the games teeter on. Magnamalo is this weird giant mash of fast moving explosions that doesn't and weird biology that doesn't fall in like with most of the other monsters. This is not me saying it's objectively a bad monster, because a lot of players love the anime big booms, but for me Magnamalo crosses that line of immersion for me and the monster hunter universe.
@@elgobaldez3487 you can call it hate, but most people prefer World over rise for a lot of reasons. Magnamalo being the big ugly mess of design and explosions being a part of it.
