The cost is about $60 per 44 days ( 88 1 gram pumps ) with no RX needed in Brazil.

I'm 61 on day 15 with the testosterone gel 1.62% 2 pumps per day. I've had Covid for the past week so I haven't really noticed any positives. I still apply daily after a hot bath. When I apply it, it's room temp so it's cold on my skin. In my down time I've done a lot of research and have found that the gel doesn't absorb like the cream so today I started doing a preheat with the bottle sitting in a glass of hot water while I bathe. It seemed to absorb pretty well. Anybody have any thoughts? Though I'm finding that the gel is the least effective I believe that's all my insurance will cover so I'm just trying to get the most out of it.

Why not apply to those areas that you mentioned? My guess is either more is absorbed or less is?

Always funny to see people saying that shots are better then gel or vice versa. There is NO one size fits all when starting trt. I'm on trt for over 17 years and i tried sypionate, androgel, nebido, sustanon and pellets. The androgel give me good and steady bloodwork but i didn't felt so well on it, i missed a little bit of that good old alpha feeling :D . Sustanon, wich a lot of people hate and wich doesn't give me the same steady bloodwork numbers as the gel does, workes the best for me and makes me "feel" amazing. That's also the stuff i take now for a good 12 years in a row now still feeling great. The worst i ever took was the pellets and then Nebido, sypionate made me feel weird and it took too long to find the correct dosage and pin times a week..

My endocrinologist specifically told me TO apply it on my chest, NOT the abdomen.

At work alcohol is forbidden and we get random checks. Testosterone gel or injection has any interaction / positive results on breath-alcohol test? Gel contains alcohol therefore I’m asking it.

Anyone experienced sleep issues when starting it (insomnia & quality of sleep)? Does it go away overtime? Any recommendations?

I know that the pharmaceutical industry suggest not to use any medications even a day after the expiration date partly because it supposedly loses its potency but what real harm could come from 1 year old gel?

Going to start this tomorrow, but think someone not familiar with the product prescribed it for me since my normal doctor is out, they wanted me to use on genitalia, and I am glad I researched before using as directed, shoulders and only shoulders.. Do they expect us to shower every day or can we reapply to same shoulder on a following day? They also have me on lowest dose to start. They really pushed the pellet into the bum procedure that lasts 6 mo to 1 yr, that just sounded too vague, is it 6 mo or 12, and what happens if did not respond to treatment, stuck with it under my skin for duration? Enlarged prostate too, so this will be fun, but levels are so low that other things are happening so I need treatment, guess be their guinea pig..

Both my shoulders and upper arms are covered in tattoos. I would imagine part of the tattoo would be scarring as well from the tattooing . Do you think this will hinder the absorption?
