3 combo you will love on the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT.
I had the opportunity to try the Tracer 9GT for less than an hour during the test days in Žilina.
In such a short time, a person will not find out everything he would like about this machine, but a few things.
There are three main things that caught my attention on this bike and I think you would love them too.
1. Engine power
The engine achieves an excellent output of 87.5 KW (119 hp) at 10,000 revolutions. I think that kind of power will be enough for most bikers. After all, my car has a few kilowatts less power and at the same time weighs almost 6 times more.
The torque is also a respectable 93NM at 7,000 rpm. This bike will definitely not let you down when overtaking.
2. Engine sound
This Yamaha has a three-cylinder engine. That was one of the reasons why I wanted to try it. I was interested in how it would behave and how it would sound. It was beautiful music to my ears, especially when accelerating. A pure joy to ride and listen.
3. Quickshifter
The first two mentioned things were great by themselves, but in combination with the quickshifter it was something.
Those starts, when the engine accelerates beautifully and you throw one gear after another under the gas without the clutch... boom, boom, boom and you're at 100... something amazing. And engine braking and downshifting.. also a great sound.
Like I said before: 3 combo: Performance, Sound and Quickshifter...I love it. Yamaha Tracer 9GT won my heart definetely.
