I believe you shouldn’t switch around with darts to much as a beginner… get a set that feels comfortable and stick with it for a year.. you’ll have a way better feel when trying new darts.. you can’t find the perfect dart for you if your grip and throw is super inconsistent. Find a grip, develop a throw, then buy darts that match your style
Best advice I can give is get really good with your normal hand of throwing... then and only then play your left hand vs your right hand. I got really good this way! Really really good! I should play on a team but I have no clue how to
I disagree with #3. At least initially. One should make sure their technique is good first, and understand how changes to darts affect things. The point is too vague to really hold any weight.

I'm guessing you new at darts one I do agree with experiment with darts that's true you do not play against better players all what is going to happen is keep losing and that is disheartening to the players and do not need to play regularly once or twice a week is more than enough and you need a perpose to practice so you no nothing about dart so don't post stuff like this unless you no what you are on about
Sorry but I completely disagree with your comment. Yes play people that are better than you but not so much better you don’t stand a chance. I also believe little and often is better than once or twice a week. You also have to practice things like doubles and working on your throw not just throwing at T20. The last point again is some what true but you need to have established a throw with good technique understanding the flight path of different darts and setups before mix and matching. You also come across rather aggressive in your condescending comment.
