more tips: whenever the enemy is blocking. if you have skill. try dashing on the back of the enemy it is the same as side dash but litte easier. when u dropkick. blocking dosent counter it so you can break their shield try to be fast. never let em know your next move never stop moving like he said. it'll be hard for people to hit you. thats it i think. just learn combos by tutorials and maybe you will become god at the strongest battlegrounds
Pros can track side dashes. And some times they know how to anticipate when your dashing to the back end. This is because everybody is doing the same thing which is spamming side dashes. So pros are just waiting for you to side dash into their block. I do the same
I fo this all the time. I try to wrap around then, but I'm not able to because I play on console and for some reason I can't change the sensitivity settings. It sucks because it means that anyone not on console has a sensitivity advantage over me and it make it hard to fight people with high sensitivity.
This is why I wish the forward dash wasn’t by default. They should make it forward dash + m1. Makes catching runners easier and you can bait counters better
One thing ive found really important aswell is spacing as you can use it to force a dash, move, or stay out of range for a punishing move. It also allows for an easy switch between passive and aggressive fighting to bait moves then counter them

Whenever I fight pros with Metal Bat, when I M1 Uppercut, they just dash evade before I even start the combo. This can give me a chance to hit them with a combo and K.O. them.
That strategy you were doing is called evasive/ragdoll cancell bait, very effective for heros that deal aton of damage and true combos, like Saitama and metal bat
Here's some more tips: Recovering - it is a way where you need to recover after failing a combo whether you messed something in the combo up or the enemy does something that is not supposted to happen during a combo. This is much helpful than practicing a combo since you can fail miserably in a fight if you don't know how the keep the flow of the fight after failing a combo. Counter Baiting - there are many ways to do this, since im a saitama main, the way I bait a counter is by doing three m1s, consecutive punch, then normal punch behind you. This tricks players like garou mains into using their counter because the transition from consecutive punch to normal punch is enough for player to stand up and use counter which many player know so instead of normal punching them, use the ability then turn around.

Play style is a type of style of how you play in a game to me this sounds like other people could not adapt to this play style and has to try to hit your hitboxs instead of adapting.
