Don't use 12v on IC. for louder sound you can use an amplifier circuit

KD9561 It's a module that is nearly doing the same sounds that this chip generates and one more extra sound also it's cheaper

It is rom ic so no need to programming

If you want more louder sound you have to use an audio amplifier and for ic, need a small voltage regulator circuit otherwise if you put more voltage on the ic , it will burn & you can't get louder sound by using a big speaker. Thanks

dont follow his note about LM IC, it suppose to be UM

You can use 8 ohms speaker or any other small speaker
