the pick scrape specifically was really good because i’ve never put my hand in front of the pick while doing it and just went right into it and always thought i just needed to be faster at moving my hands, so this was super helpful thank you!

It actually isn't what Randy does, and it isn't the whammy bar either. I just checked some live footage and his pick hand never moves past the pickups when it isnt tapping at the start. It's around 2:20 seconds into the song if you want to see for yourself. Annoyingly, the best up-close version cuts to the bass until the bending trill part is finished. I'll see if I can link the video and give timestamps. Randy just had some crazy strong fingers. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EISy_qeJ38c.html. 03:26 is a few seconds before the solo.

Randy would also bend the neck with his fret hand sometimes or push the headstock back with his pick hand

Well he had a floating tremolo so he just had to bend his whammy backwards and its also what he used in the Over the Mountain solo
