Had something similar to the first story happen to me. Back when I was 18 in 1987. A crazy homeless guy jumped on my 1972 Chevy Nova and started banging on the windshield at a stop light. I quickly gunned it in reverse and did a Rockford files (going in reverse and whipping my steering wheel to the left or right with rear wheel drive car) move throwing him off my car violently and he hit the curb real hard and didn't move I just gunned it outta there never finding out what happened to him. F him!
On the first story, it’s crazy how I was a delivery driver for a living in San Diego in 2019 and I did deliveries everywhere in the county and I remember I never had a problem with camps or bad areas. Sounds like it changed a lot when I left in 2020
You're panicking? If you're going to be working after dark in questionable areas of town you need to learn to protect yourself even if you're just driving in reverse . A construction worker out there alone?! That alone sends up red flags. Common sense
