1 week sober and clean been in the woods laying low by myself listening to 2 or 3 of these videos a night. Thanks for the vids! Its a great escape when you have insomnia/ too much to think about.
I have over 6 years and I promise you absolutely can do it! My advice is find a way that works for you. I've tried it multiple times before this last time sticking and it's not the conventional rooms way bc for myself it wasn't what I needed. And I can honestly say I could care less about doing things I once did. Idk it's wild tho and I only say this bc I sincerely wish for you that freedom one day, and it's 100% possible 😊 Many blessings to you and to your journey 🌟
Good job! The first couple weeks are the hardest. I'm 7 years clean (after dozens of attempts) and an EMT now... Every day I say in my head "i cant believe I'm able to do this" 🤣 You've got this! There's a great future ahead ❤ people like yourself to help and lives to change. When you've experienced it, people are more likely to feel understood. There's a meaning for everything we go through. Push through those withdrawls and you'll get to have your natural energy and your real self back at the other end ❤ I was afraid I'd never have energy again after I quit. Truth was I ended up with the energy I remembered from when I was a kid. Its worth it!!!! If you do happen to mess up and relapse, remember its not the end of the world, forgive yourself and try again.
Another cool intro. Agree with what someone else already said about camping stories being good. It’s an old troupe but sometimes the scariest beasts come in human form. Excellent selection of stories as usual.
loved this one, would love to hear you narrate some revenge stories or childhood stories, if i can ever motivate myself, i have some stories i could send ❤❤❤
Hey B&B, great work as always! I just wanna say how much I appreciate the genius decision to jump right into the stories without an intro (unless you count the visual intro thing, which is perfect imo)! Sooo many content creators have a looong, annoying, rambly intro to their stuff and WAY overuse the "like and subscribe" type stuff, but you limit it to the end and it's not overdone. Highly appreciated!! ❤
After re-binging all of your old videos today, this is perfect for listening to while I rock my son to sleep before I get some much needed rest myself! Thanks B&B!! 🤍😴
This first-timer is absolutely hooked, particularly that story about you and your young sister. It literally gave me chills! (My big brother always protected me, his little sis, just like you protected yours.) You are a very gifted story-teller, with a voice that's very appealing in its tone & pitch, and a natural ability to build up suspense without speeding up or changing pace. Bravo!!!
Great stories! Love camping/hiking stories since camping, hiking & fishing are my favorite things to do. Loved the preparedness of the last hiker. A knife may be the most useful wilderness tool...or self defense implement
A gun is a much better self defense weapon. A knife requires hand to hand, and arms length is too close. A tomahawk is actually a better close quarters combat weapon. It can chop, split firewood, split kindling, hammer tent pegs, hammer the spike end into the ground to dig a fire pit or latrine pit, as a weapon can crush, slash, chop, slice, hook, block, parry, hook and grab, reverse chop. With devastating results.
@ms.annthrope415 Can't argue with you there, I always carry a sidearm. While I keep 2 hatchets at camp, I prefer a large fixed blade on the trail, an ESEE 6 or RAT 7 usually. Pretty easy to baton wood for fire prep as well. Might be time to get a tomahawk too though, always looking to add the collection. Do you suggest a specific brand/model?
That first one was weird. Only thing I can think of was that couple had recently committed a murder and were debating if they were going to kill the kids. Why that guy was barefoot and they were sitting in someone else's car, well dressed, still doesn't make sense.
Tbh I was laughing, too. I laughed even harder when OP described how they ran away screaming like a pair of fresh prison turnouts. They won't be trying that again in a hurry.
Great stories. The background music, fog and rain makes the stories even more spooky. I've spent many years hiking and camping and have a few stories of my own. I've had bears sniffing around the edge of my tent and have had to hike past large psychotic looking guys with clubs who were standing next to the trail, but mostly enjoyable times. I ALWAYS carry a gun, and have used it to scare off bears in the Wind River mountains of Wyoming.
1st story was scary asf. Wonder if that couple were serial killers? And if they were ever caught? Probably didnt catch OP and his sis as they already had a victim 😮
Yep hehe im bout to do the same rn. What're you drinking on? I'm drinking crown apple tonight. Not my personal choice, it was my dads choice. but i don't mind it.
Wow, OP from story one, you and your sis were close to something very dark… *edit* Never mind, OP3, you win. Why people go into the American wilderness without a trusty gun is beyond me. This, folks, is a scary country.
Just wanted to say hi, you won't see me much ever. I'm not that type. I'm a listener, actually that may change soon. I enjoy this so much I may narrate myself. Great job! Job!
He's live rn, i just asked him! He just said whiskey. I guess he doesn't have a specific type he likes, just whiskey in general, which is awesome because it's the exact same for me haha
For the story about the kids at the lake & the creepy well-dressed couple. You already know the answer; you & your sister came upon a murder scene & thankfully y'all didn't also become victims!
This is why everyone should carry a gun. Regardless of whether or not it is legal to carry in the state park ar national park. That would save lives. I carry no matter what I have a ccw and no one is going to tell me to go out into the wilderness in a national park without a firearm.
I HATE camping. I have not gone camping in 40 years. Hate it. Much better to stay at a nice upscale lodge or motel and go out during the day. Too many weirdos out there.
My dude, how can you not differentiate a bear silhouette from a human silhouette... Also note, if your dog is showing that much aggression to something out in the dark, maybe don't try to walk up to what they're barking at.
These story’s seem too fake for me. Too much unnecessary detail.. makes it seem way made up. Which is something people do when they make things up.. they give way more details than necessary. Thats why I like “uncle unit” and “Mr.nightmare” the best. They get right to the scary part no waste
Hello…..… I’m just requesting you would consider leaving out the profanity..please and it doesn’t make a man less of a man by doing so… respect is a wonderful attribute 👍🏻 Thank you much‼️👍🏻
Cool story, but good Lord.....the grammar is horrible. Who is writing this stuff? Stop using the term "pretty much" so often, and never use the same word twice in a sentence. (probably this, probably that....) Never start or end a sentence with a preposition. Many, many other errors, but decent story. What has happened to our family duration system? ps - if you're going to be a professional "RU-vidr" you REALLY need to have someone proof read your scripts before you post them. Seriously.
