wait I'm confused about Story number two his grandparents pay him to watch over the house while they're gone so I'm assuming that means they expect him to protect the house not run away from it this also brings in the fact that he brought firearms not just for hunting but stated it was also for protection yet he ran away into the cornfield freaking out and crying waiting for his mom to pick him up

Story 2: sounds like the intruder had a job interview the following morning. Nice going, you cost that intruder their new job and this was the one where he was gonna turn his life around. I hope you feel terrible!!!

I am home alone right now, too! I enjoyed all these scary stories! People should bring their valuables with them when they're on vacation, in case they get stolen. There shouldn't be any bad people in the world. One of the people who shared their scary, home-alone, story is right. A home should be a safe place.

In the first story a shotgun/rifle was mentioned and said it gave them peace. I would have pulled that out and he would have left not me. Everyone knows the sound they make when your loading it. Lol Thats usually all it takes.

Maybe the intruder stole the shoes because he had cold feet.

I was home alone for like an hour as an 12 year old, with my parents at a neighbors, when all of a sudden I hear these fairly loud, weird clattering noises from the kitchen, then silence. I armed myself with a bat and finally investigated, only to figure out that a cutting board on edge on a kitchen counter had fallen over, hitting the edge of wooden bowl full of walnuts, all or which then went scattering around the floor.

Story 2. Was it a pun? Said Grandfather had shoes stolen. Then said burglar left bc he had cold feet.

I wouldn't be surprised if it the first story was someone trying to scare you out of your apartment so they could move in. I seen weird crap happen in them places.

OP had a friggin' rifle yet ran away while chatting with their mom... Meanwhile OP in the last story took out a home intruder without a weapon...

Story 1: Hope she understands the importance of a firearm she was completely alone and could have been raped and murdered. She called everyone and not even the cops was of much help.

I’m not sure what she thought the police could do in story one. She can’t remember to lock her door, but she expects the cops to be able find the intruder with no description. Sorry, sweetheart, the cops aren’t there to “comfort” you, they’re there to uphold the law. Do your part to “comfort “ yourself and lock the damn door!

First one: 5'3" girl decides to fight unknown intruders with a knife. If only there was some kind of tool, 100% reliable, with the ability to stop men twice her size! If only..... Second one: young man has a rifle, sees intruder, but calls his mother and then runs away? WTF? Third one: WHOA. Balls that clank! Anyone else would have straight up shot the burglar. Victim spared him. Let's hope the bad guy gets Saved and avoids hell.

Second story - horrible family for making jokes constantly thru out being raised! That's why Mom and son are idiots blaming each other and stuff like this happens!!

Story 2, WTF?!

First story: "I was a young small girl so I just hid and was scared." Me when I was a young small girl: [busts open door] "who the FUCK is there?? you better fuckin run!!" joking aside, I sent so many creeps running just by being loud and scary-sounding lol 9 times out of 10 a would-be robber or mugger is just as scared as you are, kinda like animals.

Not to be nitpicking, but the first story , she had no information, no pictures, nothing was taken, she didn't see anything, and then she complains that the police "didn't do much". There's only so much they can do

Dude can shoot animals but cry’s to his mommy when he’s strapped sayin it gives him peace haha. Number one call the damn police not mommy. Number two get your damn gun!!

Teenage girls submitting stories about a "bad feeling" are running rampant.

living alone, especially a woman, you have to have a gun. None of these people in these stories ever have guns and when they call the police, they come within minutes. yeah right. I guess they don't live in California, especially Oakland or SF.
