Traducción/translation/Перевод/Tradução Air dry clay:- 1. Air dry clay is made of only 4 ingredients. Cornflour, fevicol, vinegar and oil. 2. Fevucol is must important for this clay... any other glue should not be used. 3. If items made of Air dry clay falls down, they will not break. Things will not break and are long lasting. 4. Clay can be stored for months. You can make coloured clay by adding acrylic colours. 5. Air dry clas is best for sculpture and can create more exact shapes and detailings. Best option for making jewellery. 6. Air dry clay gives smooth texture and sanding is not required. 7. It shrinks a little while hardening. 8. Takes 24 hours to dry completely. Paper clay:- 1. Paper clay is made of 6 ingredients. Tissue paper, wood glue, wall putty, maida, cornflour and cooking oil. 2. You can use fevicol instead of wood glue but wood glue is much cheaper than fevicol. 3. If the items made of paper clay fall down, there are very few chances of breakage. These items are also long lasting. 4. Can be stored for 3 to 4 months. If the clay looks dry after few months, add few drops of water and knead well. 5. It will not shrink after hardening. Needs sanding for smooth texture. 6. If you want low cost clay, this is the best option. 7. It takes 12 hours to completely dry. Wall putty or white cement dough:- 1. This dough takes only 2 ingredients. Wall putty, white cement + water 2. If the items or wally putty or white cement dough falls down, it can break. 3. Dough can be stored for 2 to 3 hrs in wet cloth. It cannot be stored for months. 4. While making craft, always try to keep your hands clean. This will help inkeeping your work in a clean state. 5. While making craft, if the dough looks dry add few drops of water and knead well. 6. It will not shrink after drying and it needs sanding for smooth texture. 7. If you want low cost craft items, this is the best option. 8. It takes 6 hours to completely dry. Hope it helps!!

Hi Kalyani, thanks for the great videos you post. Quick question... Would you be able to mention the shrinkage on each type of clay, especially air dry clay? Generally when we apply wet moulded clay to maybe a vase or something, it tends to shrink after it dries an d because it it stuck when it is still wet it might crack. Do you have any suggestions to overcome this? Would really appreciate a response if possible....Thanks

I tried air dry clay But after 2 to 3 days if v touch it, it was sticking on my hands I used all ingredients that u used. Instead of corn flour can v use maida??

Aqui no Brasil, massa de parede tem o cimento branco, o cinza ,tem a argamassa que vem em pó cinza que parece cimento e tem o rejunte, que vem em várias cores, para preencher espaços entre azulejos e ladrilhos, tem a massa corrida também, mas essa acho que não é ,pois é uma massa branca que já vem misturada e pastosa. Qual seria a massa de parede que está descrita no vídeo? E o que significa maida?O Google não traduz para o português.
