My two are really good at high five already! Spin is proving to be more difficult. Gotta keep at it!. The biggest problem I'm having is 2 rabbits with slightly different learning speeds and they get in each other's way trying to get the treat and just doing whatever wildly to get me to give it to them 😂

@@thall3827 I have the same problem with my two buns! One is better at sitting pretty, while that other is better at spinning; I guess that's the thing with having two bunnies. ☺☺
All of my bunnies know "high five" "spin" and "bro fist" and my youngest boy knows how to play the drum, "show me" his stuffed animal, and he's in the process of learning the talking buttons. I'd like to get him a little toy piano to play and a soft basketball and hoop. He picks up on things really quick!

Having multiple bunnies is it recommended/advisable to train in isolation with each, or can it be done with one hoppin around mindlessly or even simultaneously?
I just want to say if a Bunny is standing up on thier hind legs and advancing towards you, ie walking, be sure to have some rugs or cushions around... I actually saw a guy doing that wiv his Bunny on a laminate floor and the Bunny slipped backwards, landed quite heavily...Over the next couple of days, The Bunny hopped on just one back leg...I noticed Bun had one long toe claw, which on a hard floor may of been uncomfortable and caused the Bun to slip in the first place..The nails were trimmed but all did not end well, Bun began dragging its back legs and from then on became a recumbent rabbit.. Bunny was examined and although there was no break, & pain killers were given daily ,Bunny's hopping days were over..but was still a gorgeous Bun and simply sed "I'm Ok as long as you carry me , where ever I need to go " Fortunately Bunny had a good caring family and went to live a long happy life . It just shows hard slippery laminate floors aren't what a Bunny's feet are desiģned for. .So please be extra careful if Bunnies standing up or walking on back legs, please give them a soft landing xx
How long should it take to add value to the clicker? If I do this 3-4 times a day (using cilantro for some of these sessions so as not to give too much sugar), is this likely a day or two or is this more like a week or more? How do you know when the right time to move on is? I worry I may have moved on too quickly to try to teach spin. How long assuming the same frequency do you usually find it to teach spin? I just want to have a benchmark so I know if I need to improve my technique or if things are going as expected. Is it recommended to wait a little after one trick is learned to start another?
Sorry I did not get back to you earlier. I know it's been a month since you left this comment. Do you own the mother? If you do not, have you had your rabbit checked out by a vet yet? Under a month is very very young for a rabbit to be separated from their mother. If you do not own the mother, I just want you to be aware of this as it can result in issues in the development of their digestive and immune systems, as well as physical and mental growth. Please make sure your rabbit is eating plenty of alfalfa hay at this time and you speak to your veterinarian as soon as possible.
Great video. Thank you for sharing. yours. Bunnies are so fun to cuddle with. She likes to lay with me on the bed and just be pet. Years ago, I had a rabbit who I'd take to the park with me. No leash. She'd explore a few feet from me, then run back to me. When I'd get up, she'd follow me. I thought that was so cute. Besides a clicker, could you also recommend how to keep my house nice and fresh? I also have birds. They say scented candle warmers and air fresheners are toxic to them. Are these things safe to use around a rabbit?
Pepper likes to cuddle on the bed as well 😌 It's believed that scented candles, essential oils, and incense can cause respiratory problems. The best thing for keeping your place feeling and smelling fresh is a good air purifier. We love this one: amzn.to/3Oz0iMP
Normally just their regular nuggets. But you can use anything safe for them to eat that’s small, easy to deliver and quick for them to chew. The nuggets/pellets we use are linked in the description 🙂
Hi Can I ask I have one bunny ,She has litter box on my living area and kitchen , But at night I put her on cage but apparently when I check his cage there is few poop only, but she pee. The poop I think less than 20 -30 poop on his cage. But when I let her out on day time she goes directly to her litter box at living area. How to teach her to use her cage as her litter box at night time? Hope you respone . TY
Your rabbit sounds like she's very tidy and wants to only use her litter box, therefore you'll need to provide her with access to one at all times. Just like you use a toilet, you wouldn't want to go in your bedroom. I'm going to have to suggest getting rid of the cage altogether and giving her a pen for night times. That way you will have space for a litter box within the enclosure. Cages are too small for rabbits to be shut in them for any prolonged period of time, regardless of the time of day, I'm afraid. Also make sure she has plenty of hay in her enclosure as this will encourage plenty of pooping.
Please ADOPT from a shelter or rescue. Google local rabbit rescues and animal shelters. There are so many rabbits in need of forever homes, and they will already have been neutered and vaccinated. Pepper and Wally are both rescues. Please also do plenty of research before you make the 10+ year commitment, and make sure you are in the financial position to provide veterinary care should they need it.
The biggest problem I'm having with high five is that I can't get her to stay far enough back to see the cue well. I've had to figure out how to sit so that she can't clamber all over me. She has learned "spin" and "sit pretty". She almost knows "paws" (gimme ten) but it is hard to progress from here because she is too close to me and I have to move her back each time just so she can see the cue. I think she is feeling my hand on her chest more so than seeing it. Any suggestions?

Absolutely. You can totally use a marker word if you prefer. Just make sure you keep the word clear and consistent. I like to advise clickers as the sound is always exactly the same and very distinctive.
