That is the nicest designed van I’ve ever looked at. It’s like a Tardis ! Such a lovely open living area and yet compact length with the drop down bed.

Great video and tour. Agree that it’s good to see your touches to make the van work better for you. I love this style, makes great use of space and gives you a massive garage that I think is needed tbh.

First class tour of a motorhome and the first time the garage has been put to use with proper powered two wheels. I've got to get me one of these, shame my motorcycle wouldn't fit but a scooter l could do. Good also to see a motorhome with stuff in and not as a showcase clearly well planned and used. Fridge door for beer nice. Those mattresses, comfy? Well done and worthy of a like and sub.

Interesting point about the fridge fan... moving the energy load to solar when there’s plenty of it.

Waiting for ours to arrive... Great, informative video. Reminds me exactly why we chose this model. Love your tips and hints, which I'm sure we'll pinch! Great to see you enjoying gorgeous weather on Nov. Whereabouts in Spain are you? Can't wait. Thanks again 😊😎

Hi, you almost sold one to me... Lots of great tips! Is the fixation of the scooter wheel something selfmade or can one buy this. Would you share the plan for making it myself ? Thanks for your reaction.

Please can you give me details of the hinged door (map) so i can replicate one, ie material type thickness, dimentions, hinges & fixings etc. Thank you

Nice video. Did you consider and reject a microwave installation? Also, if you wanted to install a thicker and heavier mattress (my old body is not flexible any more) would the bed cope?

Hi Jon, we have just bought a 680, lovely motorhome, but the table takes up far to much room, how did you remove it? I've loosened all the screws and given it a pull/shake but it won't move - any thoughts? thanks

Very detailed tour, thank you. A quick question about the bed. You sleep laterally so whoever is on the cab side needs to clamber over the other to use the loo or make a brew? Is that not sometimes an issue? Thanks.

Thanks for such a helpful review of your motorhome. 👍 Had recently shortlisted the Burstner 690G, due to its design and build quality. But the 680 may be a much better solution for us - as you say the drop down bed can be lowered to normal height (if remove seat cushions). Also my better half would much prefer the gain of a larger dressing room layout. Love your practical solution for taking a nice sized scooter with you. But how much does it affect the handling of the motorhome with it loaded well back from the rear axle? Finally, what is the approx payload for the 680G, and how close do you come to that with your bike? Thanks again, and ATB

Hi, great video. A couple of questions- what fridge fan have you used? What box is it that supplies 1 terabyte & WiFi box. We've just bought a td 744, picking it up in March 🙂

Thank you for the great tour. How about the weight and the scooter? Did you load up to 4.4 tonnes or does it fit with 3.5 tonnes?
@jonmartin1272
@jonmartin1272 3 года назад
All within 3500kg
@lkuhmann
@lkuhmann 3 года назад
@@jonmartin1272 Ok, that's surprising. I think your cool Yamaha is about 100kg , isn't it? ...and you also have solar and a second body battery - do you still have an inverter?... all extra weight...so what do you have left? What is the "normal" payload of you bus? I am thinking about the 680 too, but at the moment I am thinking about 4400 kg chassis - until I saw you video.
@jonmartin1272
@jonmartin1272 3 года назад
@@lkuhmann yes 100kg scooter, extra solar panel weight is negligible, battery 26.5kg so I’m left with about 300kg 50 food and drink 50 pots pans and bits and pieces. 40 water 160 still left for whatever 60kg wife😊 100kg other stuff, 2 light weight chairs and a 2 burner lpg stove for outside cooking. If you want to carry stuff “just in case” that you never use or you want to carry more water food or booze 🥃 than me, then 4250 would be more than enough I would have thought. We always travel light, we back pack Asia for 3 months a year normally and only have 20kg backpacks and never feel we haven’t got stuff that we would like. If money is no object pay for the extra payload, but I don’t think I could carry more than 4250 kgs even if I tried.
@grahamjones4888
@grahamjones4888 2 года назад
Sorry but it’s hard to believe that you’re under 3500 especially with a 100kg scooter, extra battery, gas bottles and most importantly the wind out awning which is always an add on!
