This is my regular technique with alcohol inks but I'm also showing you the differences between two white "sinkers" as many have messaged me asking why their white inks are sinking too far.

BTW, If you want more shallow/smaller drips with the Piñata, let the resin sit for about 20 minutes first to thicken up a little more before dripping in the colors

If only the white had stopped sinking a little sooner on the piniata ones. The little spores as you called them look awesome but whenever it actually rested on the bottom as it hardened kind of doesn't.

@@daniel..cooper I actually just bought the 2 big bottles of the DEEP SINKER hahaha, bcuz the whites that come with the sets of ink just don't sink as far as I want soooooo I saw your nice video an said to myself "Self" "Yes self" "WE NEED NEED NEEEEEED THAT STUFF"! Yes, yes we do hahaha. So yup got the 2 bottles an the needle point bottle for 18.99. I'm in the states so I couldn't use your link well it sent me to the Amazon you use but since I'm in the U.S. I had to take the stuff you had listed and search in my Amazon but it's the same so it's cool. I cannot wait to order the resin to see if I like it better than the Pixiss resin

I had no idea there actually were non-sinking white inks on the market!? I have a few brands of white inks and all are labled 'sinker white', some of those lables lie and now I know why.

Thanks for showing the difference between Piñata and Let’s resin. I’ve been getting heavy white droplets sinking to the face with Piñata, I really don’t like the look of it. I’m going to try Let’s resin instead. I hadn’t thought of trying a different dye so, this was very helpful!

This upload is great. Shows how colours interact and the results vary dependant on the type of inks used. Given my previous dodgy outcomes with using inks, I dont use them much. Your minimalist approach is more my style. Cheers for this I'll give it a try this weekend

the pinata ink is mainly used for large projects like coasters using the petri dish effect where you layer colour white colour white etc so you need a ink like pinata theres a fine line on the to little you dont get the effects to much and you get the they of skin that your findind thing and ad one more drop to the to much and all the inks everything just sits the and never sets, piñata is great for larger or deeper pour some also say it helps keep the colour of the ink for longer as achol ink can fade really quick again that depends on whe you make with it, love watching your videos and now easter is out the way i may get to try some

I like the piñata white, but only in small amounts. I find that with the piñata white, less is more. I also love the versatility of the Let's Resin white too, though.

I make resin dice and we call the effect the piñata ink makes the petri method because it looks like cells in a petri dish. But now I'm going to have to give the let's resin white a try, that effect is so gorgeous!

I think all are really pretty in their own right. Though I think the Pinata would look better in a bigger piece like a coaster. And then I would experiment with the pin and then in another use a toothpick or skewer. Then you could try the same thing with the White that you prefer. Keep on keeping on. 😊♥

Be careful with the 2 part resin. Some brands are mixed by volume instead of weight. With these resins the resin has a different weight compared to the hardner. Read which method you need to use. I went the wrong way with the 1st 1&1/2 litre of 2 component resin (to cover liquid acrylic paintings). All my batches behaved like water on a freshly buffed car. And I thought I didn't mix long enough... :)
