I live here. Both the city managers, the entire County Board of Supervisors, police chiefs and the sheriff, and plenty of others in the hierarchy need removed/replaced. Never been anywhere that corruption is so predominant in the 'leaders'.

The city manager encounter was pretty childish but the office at the end was downright despicable. There needs to be a full scale audit on this building though it probably won't ever happen.

Grass valley City Manager Tim Kaiser is a rude, condescending, and ineffective public servant that should be in another line of work. On a positive note, there was a point when he realized that he stepped in it (if you get my drift) and reluctantly handed out cards. I would love to know what his blood pressure was during this time. My guess is that it was in the stroke range. Tim embarrassed himself, his employees, and the city of Grass Valley. I found it rich when at the 22:36 mark the officer (Zack) asks BAT "How come you don't have something better to do?" That came from a man standing out in the sun watching BAT for no reason whatsoever as he was not breaking any laws. Hypocrite much? Ignorant much? Bored sh*tless much? I would call this an epic intimidation fail. It is even more ridiculous because as the cop stands there doing essentially nothing there is a huge Mac Tools truck parked illegally against traffic. But, then again, the Mac Tools guy probably doesn't have a camera, does he? These last two clowns embarrassed themselves. They were rude and disrespectful and spent way more time violating BAT's rights than they did trying to help him. Why do we allow them to treat us this way and then pay them also? I have to agree with you, If you actually knew some of those self important nauseating public officials that I met and dealt with during my long career working for the Federal Govt. One in particular I had a lot of dealings with, he would only ask a question that he knew the answer to because he was not that knowledgeable in a lot of matters.

It came to a point where I couldn't stand to hear him repeat himself in every single video with his quips and spiel, and towards the end of me watching him he was just being rude and obnoxious. These public servants are getting real lazy by pushing people to go online for service. And it seems like the "higher" the position of the public servant, the more arrogant and useless they are.
This is the belief that "I don't have to do the job I am paid to do, becuase I am too busy existing in the job I am paid to do". The higher you look in public office, the more this attitude becomes ingrained and entitled behaviour.

Consider records requesting the employees policies and write a complaint listing every violation then give it to the mayor the board or whoever handles them.

I wonder how they will handle the phonecalls. It won't just be them either. You can go down the list of local government digits from the Mayor to the dog catcher and know that they will be taking public records requests every third ring. I wouldn't be surprised if the next council meeting is full to the rafters with every attendee recording. Not supplying readily available info is not only a violation of policy, it's illegal. This city manager should be fired immediately. Cops not knowing the difference between what they "need" to know and what they "want" to know are dangerous and oftentimes violate or try to violate peoples' rights. This should give a mark on their papers and require re-training. Public officials who doesn't want to ID, doesn't want to follow the law or their own policy should be fired immediately. They're not only violating the law, they're violating the oath of their office and the public trust.

You totally make my day. I've had my civil rights violated so many times being a victim of crime. Rampant corruption I learned the hard way of public servants with the most aggregious consequences resulting in emboldened criminals & the eventual death of my elderly mother as collateral damage from the shock of all what we went through by family members financial crimes against the both of us. Elderly financial fraud is number 1 crime though not even a high priority with those in positions to do something about this horrific atrocity. The justice system needs to be scrutinized & overhauled weeding out the wrong people who do not have good character in positions of power over the public's safety & security.

The reason they (and police) act that way is because they do not think their acts will have any such repurcusions until it does, they then cry on and on about it when it literally blows up in their face.
I just spoke with Tim and he claimed that his behavior was so atrocious was in part because of the way you were dressed and that you cut parts of the video out that justified his behavior! I then asked him if his position was voted in by the people, so that we could vote him out, and hoped that by now he had found his big boy pants and had he put them on! He then wished me a lovely day and I returned the salutation by saying I hope you do too Timmy.
In this day and age exclaiming that you don't give permission to be video recorded is basically saying I'm going to do everything I can to keep you from being able to hold me accountable for what I say and do on the Public's dime
