Words fail me for how grateful I am for this message. I asked DAD for help last night and to please help me understand what's going on in a close friendship. I knew I was supposed to address something that recently happened today, and I didn't know how to do that. I wanted to be sure what I was feeling was on the right track...relieved sigh. Now I know what I was feeling was valid. Now I just need to know how to have that conversation with this person. I'm trying to remind myself that I'm not responsible for their reaction. I just need to address it in love, and the HOLY SPIRIT will handle it from there. Thank you for your prayers. ❤
Wow, this is the main reason I don't attend church anymore. I've seen so much manipulation from pastors, leaders ,and teachers. In my twenties, I experienced this when God moved my to several churches over a couple of years. Each move was for me to learn something in the prophetic. Each pastor got very bitter and told me I was not hearing from God. Well, I followed God, not the manipulating leaders. I'm so glad I did Thank you for such a needed word. I am praying that I can find an amazing church soon. Pray for me. ❤
I had the same thing happen to me in 1998, from a pastor at a church that I had been going to for several years , faithfully served in various capacities and when I told the pastor that we were moving to California, that this was God's timing and the doors were opening and all the other times and they just didn't work, but I had prayed if this was indeed God's timing, and the Lord said it was God's timing. He was telling me no you shouldn't go and your son is still in school and he was telling me these things out of his guilt and his regret for not following God because someone had told him the same thing 20 years prior and he listened to that person and he regretted it ...yet while he's telling me that story he was doing the exact same thing to me, but I was determined that I was going to listen to God and get out of that City, because I knew it was God's timing but it was also the desires of my heart. And it also made me a little sad that he was trying to manipulate me as well.

The next prophets of this season will be those who equip others to hear and sense God’s guidance and prophecy for their own lives. Teaching the body to rest and know His love, this will be the ultimate protection from wolves in sheep’s clothing.

There is a false prophet big time in Ontario, California. She's the pastor/prophet/teacher in the Spanish church that meets at the Hope chapel building. The church is plagued with narcissists. We need to stand up to them.
This was so good! Definitely a teaching we need right now with prophets popping up everywhere. I love the wisdom you shared, especially the emphasis on our freedom as adults to make our own decisions as we submit our lives to God. I've had so much trouble standing my ground and speaking up for myself. This was very helpful.

Awesome word. I pray the body of Christ will begin to stand for righteousness. We allow ourselves to stay in unhealthy relationships because we have grown accustomed to being there so long or we like the other people. We must become God focused. He puts the lonely in families. So there is a family out there for you, you just have to ask God where it is.❤

I felt pressured this morning by a minister praying for me to give or participate, I gave last month and received a good harvest but still , I have to be free to make my own decisions . I also had a leader try to tell me I'm supposed to marry them but I don't like them and feel horrified. I felt a power on their words and it's freaking me out , they are prophetic which makes it harder. I think God wanted me to listen to this message today, thank you #myturn

I have felt a lot of this with some of the people in my life, but I also don't ever want to be decieved because "I don't like the way people do things"... even when clearly it could be bad fruit definitely something I am going to be praying about now.

Thank you Shawn! I pray that the Lord would help us with this. Let us humble ourselves and come to you Lord. Its about you anyway. This has been refreshing and really blessed me. It has been difficult to see sometimes things that are unhealthy because I have been afraid of being wrong at times. I sometimes think I may discern things, but I don't ever want to assume or say something negative about someone.
Okay I have to add this about people's pasts. God can call on anyone at any time to fulfill their purpose he has ordained for them. And We all fall short of the Glory of God. We all sin. Jesus chose Saul, who persecuted and killed Christians. Do not ever look at someone's past. But look at their current and future actions🙏✝️
This message is a great reminder for both individuals who need to learn to rely on the Holy Spirit for wisdom and watch out for controlling leaders and for leaders who need to make sure they are being led by the Holy Spirit and not abusing their parishioners!
This is exactly what I’m now experiencing in my marriage. Not church. Marriage. After 7 years of trying to ‘submit’, I just can’t any more. I’m tired of never being able to step out on what I sense God is telling me, to be told “that’s not God” because it doesn’t come in the package my husband thinks it should. He hasn’t been to church in over a year, and spends his free time watching Pluto tv on his phone. His God is evidently not my God. I’m asking for your prayers. Thank you for this message. I went to a church 2x with a friend and immediately experienced such an overwhelming sense of "something is very not right here". She invited me to go to church with her again last week and I had to tell her I had an overwhelming sense something is not right there. I think it made her upset and defensive although said in concern for her. I've been praying for God to reveal how to know if it's a false prophet and here is the message! #myturn
Of all your videos I’ve watched this year this one has me in tears!!! 😓I’m in such a broken place now … years later, as I had really been fighting this oppression for years & slowly grew very tired from not being heard or having anyone to turn to who could also see or confirm to me that I’m being manipulated.- & I mean Slowly- so slow I didn’t even notice it & now it feels too late? Too far gone? it’s so hard when all my closest people (family & … we’ll I no longer have friends that I trust anymore 😮💨) are either against me (secretly/spiritually) or well meaning & loving me, yet actually doing me SOOO much harm. … my Question is: how do I deal with my current Living situation? I live with this person who is also my abuser (not sexually) & I have nowhere safe to go atm. He’s not the kind of person who I can speak to either. No1 can. What do I do????? I feel stuck #myturn 🙏
Start planning your departure. Try to save money for that. If no where currently available to you is safe, you'll have to venture out on your own. Pray the Lord shows you a safe, affordable place. And speak over yourself the Word of the Lord, renounce and rebuke the lies about yourself that you ve been told.

Wow! I lived through this in the 1980's - flashback time! Some of the things that happened in that church were good and I am able to appreciate the good that happened there. Lots of lessons to be sure and not to be forgot. I had a number of incredible experiences and it is where God taught me how to follow the Spirit in healing (which is different than praying for healing). So I take away the positive and learn from the negatives and leave them behind. There came a time to leave though and I am glad I did. Big lessons in control and manipulation and following God instead of man. Thanks
Thank you so much I need this teaching just experienced a situation that seemed like a dream come true but the Holy Ghost intervened and it was cut short two-and-a-half months, into the ministry which has some phenomenal generals that's passed on and some still alive and there's bound to be a couple of bad apples in a large groups such as this from my hometown I love all of them still. I think these sorts of things can sometimes unknowingly get into life, when a little too "occupied" or in a time of change when internally I'm not feeling the same as I would normally :(. I love these checks, when I realise I've made some decisions I shouldn't have, and can identify them with Jesus clearly, and get a good "clear out," and become simple, fresh and clean again :). I've been a believer since May,1989. This is the first time whether live,on radio,on t.v., on tape,on CD, online(until now) that the human spirit can operate in witchcraft without the demonic attachment until that person is attached to of an unclean spirit moving them in witchcraft. Sean , in essence is speaking of this. In the law , Deuteronomy does reference this spiritual issue, which I was aware of for years. Nobody replaces the Holy Spirit. As romans 8:14 says "for as many as are led by the spirit of God,they are the sons of God. Notice the qualifier "for as many as are led ?
This is the most important message I have ever heard you share, and you share a lot of important stuff. I am so grateful to hear this coming from someone who has a platform where it can get out there and free a lot of Christians who are in bondage to people who either knowingly or unknowingly are manip ulative and centered around themselves and not Jesus. When you said t hat you felt guilty for thinking t hat pastor in Hollywood has the appearance of anointing, I almost started crying. This has happened to me many times. I will walk in to a room or meet someone or even cllick on a video and get a weird feeling or hear something t hat I wasn't even thinking... like... "The person is not tellling the truth" or "Don't trust that" or "hidden issues here," and I feel guilty and get mad at myself and say, "Stop being judgy." Well, I wasn't trying to be judgy. I wasn't even thinking judgy. And later on... boom... it comes out and I'm like... oh man... I'm sorry, ,Holy Spirit. That was you giving me a heads up. I have stories I won't say here, but God took me through a boot camp I didn't want at the time... throwing me in the middle of the craziest situations you could imagine in my 20s, where first a false prophet tries to take over the churches in town and then a pastor came in already in the church and operated the same way. I was like... nooooooooooooooo... I was a "nice" Christian who smiled all the time and couldn't say no to anyone, but... God snapped my backbone in place fast because in some instances, there were even lives in danger. Sigh... familiar spirits can fake an "anointing." If you didn't know Holy Spirit, you might get sucked in because it is supernatural and they are singing about Jesus, but... uh uh, man... uh uh... they're not following him. Anyway... thank yoiu. Oh... when someone is just going off on a rabbit trail or getting emotional, I just pray for God to help them get back on track, but when it's a literal wolf going after the sheep... I'll pray for them later. Right now, there are sheep getting devoured and this sheep dog isn't having it. Uh... I'm careful about that because... you know.. I don't want to manipulate anyone either, but I will pray and do what I can to steer sheep clear of that destructive nonsense.

Someone who used to invite me to bible study stopped doing it and unfriended me on fb. I knew something was wrong. He's a false teacher. He has a ministry and disciples with focus on youth. He baptizes em in water and spirit together with his ex pastor. He sensed that I would expose him and cancelled me fast. I pray that all would have discerning of spirits in operation!!
When they think they hear God for everyone they use the God card.And then when they are checked out not even the fruit. What God does is lasting full of good fruit and lead by peace and God's love. When we have fellowship with the Lord we have fellowship with one another
Also if you read or hear something happening in the future do not believe it's not true. Because it's hard to believe. Pray for decernment. Pray for God's truth. Because you may be fooled with the spirit of unbelief and miss a message God wanted you to see or know🙏✝️
This time it's my turn, thank you Jesus for who you are what You've done on our behalf I renounce and repent of all church hurt, spiritual abuse affiliation for the sake of connection and I ask for you to renew my walk and connection accordingly within the body not my will but Yours Lord and help me walk talk pray and be authentic and vulnerable in church wo past fears or false authorities over me or from me. I agree with alot of this message. However there is one thing I've seen over the past 30 years on the other side of this message is that people jump from church to church or leave church altogether because they say they are being led by the Spirit. Yet the fruit of their lives show they haven't been following the Holy Spirit. I see this more in charismatic circles than any other.
My turn, my friend Beverly who’s fighting suicidal thoughts after a very intense relationship with a para church minister who I observed was requiring a lot from her, and then dropped her completely. Bev is older and now very fragile both physically and emotionally
@shaun Bolz. My husband and I go to a church that we are relatively new to. We started going during Covid because my son and his family, and My in-laws are going there. We really enjoy it but we have been very careful about being involved in ministry because we are so overwhelmed with our obligations to our family members who need our assistance . We go to a monthly Bible study with people from many different churches in So Cal. And that is where we feel known. I'm not sure how the Pastor of our church thinks about us, since my son and his wife are worship leaders but we appear less involved. We are doing the best we can right now. I feel a bit misunderstood.

There's another scenerio where people want to fill God's role with spiritual gurus. I remember seeing a Line of people form, after Sunday Morning Service, waiting for sometimes 2 hrs, just to get a one on one meeting with the "head Pastor". Emergency Meetings were needed to request marriage, a change of occupation, or perhaps the moving of a family . . These people were just seeking their Boss's permission . . . The problem is two fold - yes, there's the clergy, but there's also people who want the ease of going thru life like a child, being told what do do. Church is an Army? Church is a Business? And can we fully blame the Pastor or their congergation for acting as if they've joined the "Corporation of Church", when the sketal structure - the glue of the Church Organization - MUST OPERATE AS A BUSINESS TO CONTINUE TO EXIST! Who's to blame for this? The IRS? Civil Law? The desire for massive lecture halls . . I mean church auditoriums? While I cannot judge a CEO, if I've never run a business . . I can choose if I am to go into business - IF a group of people all want to partner with God to take jobs and pay off a million dollar building, that's between them and God - Likewise, they will have no say over what wisdom I have to avoid such organizational structures which would be much better off - left to stockholders, Boards of Directors, Operational Managers, and Finance Officers who are concerned with profit margins!
When someone asks "are you ready for this or that? Are you capable etc etc" Sticks in my spirit. The word says I am complete in Christ, have the mind of Christ...etcetc
