Love the idea of team getting in car and going through the motions!

These are great ideas! Another one would be to invite someone that you know (that you're close enough to) that doesn't go to your church, or maybe doesn't go to church at all. You can ask them to note what they think of all of it, and tell you afterwards. My brother-in-law is a pastor, but he's in a different state, so I had never attended his church. I went to visit a couple years ago, and although I grew up in church so it wasn't all completely new to me, I was able to look at it from an unbiased perspective, and let him know my first impressions of the way their church ran.

I like to say that "A church should be a reflection of Christ to their community, and a reflection of their community for Christ".

I’ve been binge watching your videos, great content. I have a small group of people who are talking about starting a church. Will seriously consider subscribing to your services if we do. But I just had to comment and tell you: you keep using the word compel wrong. It means to use force to make someone do something. I think you mean encourage.

Compel? Why not let them decide if it's for them? At time a one-time visit is enough.

I had a really good laugh at this video. I'm a Satanist and have very little interest in attending rites and rituals of other religions. But a Christian friend of mine asked me to go to church with her and I agreed. I had nothing else to do that Sunday and I don't believe in magic, so why not. Apparently there were a lot of unwritten church and social rules and I damn near broke every one of them. They got mad at me for withholding money donations until I could verify they actually spend it on charitable works. They got mad at me for using the womens restroom and demanded I use the mens or go down the street to the corner store and use their bathroom. They got mad at me for standing up, interupting, and questioning the clergy talking guy at the podium for telling a really big lie about science findings. They got mad at me for questioning the bible. They got mad at me for not believing their leader at his word alone. They got mad at me for wearing a skirt and tshirt instead of a suit and tie. They got mad at me for not bowing and praying. They got mad at me for eating the cracker and juice that they handed me. Half an hour before the ceremonies were supposed to end, their leader banned me from ever returning. Not exactly the impactful threat he believed it was as I didn't care either way. My friend apologized for their behavior and promised never to invite me again. That was my first and last time attending a Christian church. Really bizarre stuff.

It is redundant and time wasting for the host to repeat what Brady says. I want a very concise teaching.
