Numbers 12:6. That's one way to know. Being a prophet involves experiencing some really dark things, as well as a lot of light. People who want to be prophets have no idea what they're asking for. You will not be popular among people or have many "friends." The ones you do have need you spiritually much more than you think you need them....you will always be expected to be the strong one. People will call you and show up at your house for prayer. It's a great responsibility. Never deny prayer from the elders if you think you might be a prophet. Receive prayer as much as possible. If you are a prophet in the early stages, be prepared for intense spiritual battles. You must study the Bible and pray constantly.

Jennifer. . A prophet at a church I visited.. started talking to me like she knew me.. that night she said I was a prophet. I said no... I dont even got to church regularly. She said you need to accept it receive and get closer to God. All I can say is I'm so schocked.. but as I child I use to see, hear and sense things. I am now attending a church and now I am fasting asking for guidance
READ your Bible. All of it. Let God speak to you. Dont be tempted by people who want you to give them a word. Trying to hard can invite in familiar spirits. Also, just because God shows you something doesnt mean you have to TELL the person. Lots of people are not READY to hear a little word and it will mess them up more than it will help.
God spoke directly to my spirit back in January. He woke me up around 3am and I felt Him ask "Are you ready?" and with His presence so heavy in the room there came with it a knowledge of what He meant by that. He meant that it was almost time. Knowing it wasn't a rhetorical question I told Him "Only you know the answer to that Lord..." And with that answer everything sort of got real peaceful.
This needs to be heard all across the world because for some reason this office is glamorized and everyone wants to be a prophet. If everyone within the body of Christ would operate where God has called them everything would flow the way that it’s supposed to.
I hide in my prayer closet. I wait for God to tell me “when” and then I go. People identify me as a “P” but I don’t want the title. I don’t want to be known. I used to be afraid of this calling. But now I’m surrendering my fear to God. I go to a church that doesn’t really move in the gifts of the Spirit. But we went there because we moved from another state and did not know where to go. So here we are. We are praying for God to give us leading on how to go about it. So please pray for us as well. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Martha Newcomb Just for the sake of time, I was in the same position as you for years not wanting the title, going to a church that doesn’t really operate in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit as you’ve mentioned etc but the Lord really dealt with me in that area during a visit to South Africa this year - it was totally liberating as some of my thinking was not aligned with Gods Word..almost rejecting Gods call on my life ..what started out as trying to be “humble before the Lord” became “fleshly and proud full”.. i repented and have since gone on from strength to strength. I pray that the Lord will show you as you don’t need validation from man but you need appointment- calling by the Lord in this area. I would like to harp on and on but pleased be encouraged to seek the Lord more on it and he will show you and give you the answers you’re looking for. Blessings.
When the Lord picked me up out of a worldly lifestyle, my life changed in a instant! I began to have visions, receive heavenly downloads from the Holy Spirit as well words of knowledge. This is amazing and beautiful, and even though most believers don’t walk in or demonstrate higher levels of gifting, we are all called to. The walk of the Spirit and the supernatural should be every Christian’s normal but sadly it’s not yet.
A prophet is exact about the Word of God. Passionate about accuracy. Lifts up Jesus, the Kingdom of God and doesn't give a care about what others think. They're not wishy-washy. They don't say "I feel...". Things are or things aren't. The answer is yes or no. A prophet points to God and His Will and His Word, they clarify the Word, and sometimes tell the future but it is about HIS plan and purpose of God FOR HIM, not all these ear ticklers that never deliver a message that OFFENDS MOST EVERYONE. In fact, the Word from GOD challenges everyone who hears it. Also, a prophet knows who is another prophet and those who have familiar spirits. A prophet is also put through things first, purified first, faces things first, and the Word BURNS in them. The prophet exalts GOD, not man. Delivers warnings for purification for good. For God's Will. The prophet won't have a lot of friends. People will love him, fear him, hate him, but whatever they feel about him, they will know where he stands and know that he is trustworthy. As for prophesying. That's not the same. I've seen many prophesy and they werent even aware that they were. God warning and admonishing, foretelling, putting a burden on someone, yes, He does this to any who are walking with Him and are able to hear, that is, those who are not all junked up with carnal and vain garbage. Prophets are content with the basics, are repelled by vanity, glitz, and excess. They do not desire recognition. They cannot help but to point to God and give Him all honor. They fearfully speak His Word, knowing the judgement upon them for adding to or taking away, for speakung their thoughts in His Name, thereby taking His Name in vain. Many may see future things, many may prophesy, for Our Father is faithful and gives a heads up to all His Children. Even about things that are to come in the future. In that way we all prophesy. As it should be. But a prophet cuts deep. Why? Because the WORD OF GOD IS SHARPER THAN A TWO-EDGED SWORD, EVEN TO THE DIVIDING OF THE BONE FROM THE MARROW! That's why. Just like the WORD OF GOD says. So if a prophet delivers a WORD FROM GOD, it's gonna go deep. But all these fluffy and whipped topping sorts who are loved by everyone? Nope. Bless God. Let God be true and every man a liar.
I'm also a prophet. And you're right you don't have to be a mature Christian to be a prophet. God called me to be a prophet. My wilderness experience was me being possessed then homeless. My encounter with God was very dramatic too. And thank you for saying that I shouldn't be frustrated if people don't recognize me ☺️

The Holy Spirit told me I'm a prophet but I have doubted it and really dont want to be one. However I love the Lord and want to honor Him and fulfill my destiny. I will be a prophet.
The beauty of the 5 fold is that when these 5 work hand in hand there is a solid, strong foundation and then God can pour out the "Full Weight" of His Glory upon it for it has the strength to carry it and becomes a established governmental authority in the earth & heavens. I've had 4 disaster visions that each came to pass within two weeks n others that have yet to be fulfilled. I became depressed when 14 people were killed in one of these disasters, I had no way of warnings others. After years of being lukewarm, I finally surrendered all to Christ n though I always heard His audible voice, I began having visitations, words of knowledge & open visions.

This is the reason why I do not want to call myself anything, because I know I have been called to do something, but I also have endured a lot of trauma in my life and have had insecurity issues, fear etc.... I do not want to operate in the wrong spirit. However, I have certain things that have been with me. 1. Heavy Dreaming 2. When I walk in rooms, I can sense the environment. 3. I have been able to hug someone and sense if they are hurting.

This makes me cry. When I truly surrendered I began to hear God and get Words, unctions, knowings....( I didn't understand but would usually obey ...even though i was scared to death.). I have struggled so much as I mature bc I was told ANY constructive prophecy was not from God. I felt so bad that I didn't want to prophesy. Friends would reprimand me..but then the person I corrected would say thank you. I did it bc I care. and I felt so misunderstood. It has been a tough journey.This brings light. Im in Orlando...not many churches I have run across speak on this.

This is a calling from birth. God makes clear the messages He gives us to tell and warn others. He does not leave us clueless, and sometimes the message is both terrible and wonderful. It is a calling for the lost to come to Him, for His wandering sheep to return home. The day is growing late and a door is soon to be shut forever. I bow myself down at the feet of the One who made the universe... for I am the least in the kingdom of Heaven.
Interesting story...I heard a word from God one evening driving down a freeway that God would raise me up (from my current crisis or situation) and after thanking God and prayer a song came on the radio about God raising you up...it was so incredible.
Was reading through the comments, and noticed alot about the calling to be confirmed. I was in praise and worship in my kitchen at home, and I had a vision, a Pastor I knew in this vision I was visiting the church he Pastors. I was entering the doorway and was dressed as I would usually be dressed in this scenario to church as though I was gonna Preach, like back in the days. The Pastor is at the altar, he has the microphone in his hand and says that he's so glad that I'm there and says "The Prophet" has arrived to the congregation and begins to give me good credit and exhortations on my behalf. He asks me to come forward to him, and says furthermore, cause when a Prophet enters this Church, we recieve him well. And he asked me to take the microphone. End of vision, I was drowned in tears alone at home today, i just sincerely remembered that right now. God bless!
I believe my gift is prophetic but lack the boldness and Godfidence to walk in it daily. I rebuke the lies of satan keeping me from God’s purpose for my life and place in the body of Christ. Amen.

I've known I was a prophet since I was a little girl. My mom knew it before I did. She however baptized me into witchcraft thinking I should be a white witch. When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior sure was upset. I have hidden it for years and asked for it to be taking away because of the backlash. Now I'm willing to walk in it. It's important for the salvation of many.

I was at this church building back in 2013 and the suppose to be prophetess over the house she was trying to hold me back from who GOD told me I was I left that place
My Pastor refuses to recognize my gift. For years he had me doubting and wondering what I was. I am a seer. My discernment is off the chain. I discerned spirits on him and he rebuked me🤷♀️. This set me waaayyy back.I saw mostly evil and demonic in this world and the spirit world.I prayed for the Lord to allow me to see the goodness and angels in and around people. And he DID! This let me know my gift IS from the Lord.
That happens and so sad. Instead of the Pastor utilizing you in Ministry he's allowing jealousy and envy to take over because he does not Possess that Gift. I wouldn't stay there but wait on the Lord to speak to you.
Dess D. It’s true and correct that your Pastor may be jealous of the extent that God uses you. This also lets you know that your growth will and is being stifled under his ministry. Seek God about your next move and He will lead you as to whether you should leave. I know already that your Pastor is not very humble because if he were he would be using you to help further his ministering. For the lady making this video needs to go back and read I. The Old Testament. There is no difference in a seer and a prophet. Check the Bible A seer is a prophet. There is no difference in the positions.
This is so good! I don't care about a title. But I do care about not walking in my calling. I'm a dreamer and have been continuously dreaming last year after sickness, job loss, loss of home and death in family all within a year
I feel the exact same way! The title is something that I don't care about it's walking in my calling too. I also had a lot of stuff happen all at once. It isn't about us but being faithful to the call of God! God is taking me out of the wilderness

God is Leading and developing gifts in me. As you say "Stick to your lane". I have learnt so much listening to you and the Lord has released Anointings on me during your Prayer mornings with Holy Spirit. In my Kitchen amazing things have happened!. I've always felt this calling in my life but I also know that it is very difficult and there's a lot of work required and I'm highly accountable again like someone else said it's not something that you want it is something that god gives to you however he sees fit. Im mean jonah ran away. Think about it and study the word. I've even pray to God and said if it's something that I want and it's not what you want for me then take it away cuz sometimes I feel like I'm not qualified or not up to it but then again time goes by and God continue to show me his grace and his love, as it's for God's glory, not mine. Though not a prophet I have had the pleasure of being called a couple times to help people in crisis...getting a word of knowing they would be in my path prior to coming around a corner on the road and seeing them. I obeyed, stopped and helped which I feel may have planted the seeds that were needed.
@@chard324 the context of the 'classroom' is for structured training and safe space to grow.. It doesn't mean you'll get the Holy Spirit' gift of prophecy just bc you're there. God gives the gifts, but we can grow in using them.. If you want to look at it this way - Jesus disciples the 12, he kept them under His wings for a couple years. They were travelling, but still learning about God and the ways of the kingdom... It's like a portable classroom, but they learned via being in relationship to Jesus and seeing Him teach, then, He commissioned & sent them out. There is such thing as mature & immature prophets.. There's nothing wrong w being in a "place" or context that is structured for their growth. It should be encouraged rather. That's what I think the "classroom" is for.. To be (Biblically) instructed on what the purpose of prophecy is, how to know if you're hearing from God etc etc...seeing prophetic words released and so on. Jesus taught then commissioned.. Kind of the same principle here in a way.. Ps. Vagabond prophets can be dangerous without accountability or proper biblical understanding of prophetic.... Classrooms/prophetic gatherings or groups CAN change that.
A prophet is a person chosen by God to reveal His nature, intention, decision and outcome through future events. The creator wants to impart part of Himself because it is His loving and gracious nature. It took me 35 years to analyze why i see future events, all of it, including my own doom of being blind because i asked it to be removed from me. Let anyone who has the heart do prophecy cause He sees it and makes it to pass, for the benefit of the church. Glory be to Jesus!
If you see anything you don't want in your dream, you can fast and pray about it to be canceled and it will be canceled, that is one of the reason it was shown to you

If you spend time in the word of God God will reveal to you if you are a prophet it not by private interpretation! You must be filled with the Holy Spirit and the word of God they are one!!
I don’t like titles - Jesus didn’t have one they called him master or teacher but he operated in everything and walked it out! I agree the gift will open doors in due time. I see titles overused and abused. 🙏🏻

Mended And Whole True at times. But Jesus did use titles. Titles have there place and when rightfully used are propped. When one goes to the doctor he does not go to an auto mechanic they go to a doctor with the title and accreditation of a doctor.
Well, the Bible does say that whoever's called to preach is to have their pay of what they do, For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward 1Timothy 5:18. So her time and resources and expenses have to be covered by charging. She not charging for a prophecy?! Gb
Thank you!!!! First time I hear someone speak about how the 5 fold is to equip us, but that we have our own calling. The oroblem is, 5 fold crowd interprets this as either you are in full time ministry or a church related ministry or you have no calling. Yet we are all to be prepared, to be instant, in season and out of season, to give an answer regarding our faith.

Great examples of this include when the Lord said, 'Hear now My Words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make Myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.' ~ Numbers 12:6-7 (KJV) But having prophetic dreams does not mean a person is a prophet, which is why the Lord also said, 'If there arise among you a prophet, OR a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder...' ~ Deuteronomy 13:1 (KJV) We also see this with king Saul, who, unlike David, was not a prophet of the Lord: "And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, 'What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?' And one of the same place answered and said, 'But who is their father?' Therefore it became a proverb, 'Is Saul also among the prophets?'" ~ 1 Samuel 10:11-12 (KJV)
@@SilentValley2023 There are three sources of dreams, the soul, the devil, and the Lord. If a person spent all day worrying about finding a spouse and has a dream that night about getting married, that is most likely a dream from the soul. If a person dreams of having sexual intercourse it is most likely from the devil. A dream from the devil is meant to take a person away from his or her God-ordained destiny, which may include leading a person into sin. That is why it is important to discern the source of a dream because it may not be form the Lord. In addition, a prophecy is a revelation from a deity, which may or may not be the Lord. The woman with the spirit of divination was prophetic but her revelations were from an impure spirit (Acts 16:16-18). I touched on some of this in my answer to your other question. However, Joseph, Jesus’ surrogate father, was a dreamer. An angel spoke to him in a dream and told him it was safe to marry Mary because the child she was carrying was of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18-25). He also received two more dreams. An angel told Joseph to take his family to Egypt to escape king Herod’s murderous decree (Matthew 2:13-15), and when it was safe to return to Israel (Matthew 2:19-23). Jacob had prophetic dreams about which livestock would reproduce (Genesis 31), as did his son Joseph who dreamt about his future, twice (Genesis 37). Joseph later interpreted the pharaoh’s two prophetic dreams (Genesis 41), and did Daniel for king Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 2, 4). The Lord said ‘Hear now My Words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make Myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.’ ~ Numbers 12:6 (KJV) That does not mean a person who has had a prophetic dream is a prophet. The Lord makes that clear when He said, ‘If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder.’ ~ Deuteronomy 13:1-5 (KJV) A prophetic dream provides revelation a person may have never known or have forgotten about. It may reveal a past or present issue that is holding a person back. A prophetic dream may also show a person something that will happen. One such example is I went to Australia for two weeks in 2013. On the first night, the Lord gave me a dream to let me know I would meet three people while I was there. He was very specific with one being an indigenous Australian. I met him in my last 48 hours in the country. He donated the artwork on the cover and the interior of the book I wrote while I was there called “Australia: A Journey Down Under”. If I recall correctly, I wrote about how we met on the cover of the book, and we are still in contact years later. The Lord still communicates via dreams today, even to unbelievers, just like He did with king Abimelech. The king made a serious mistake by taking Abraham’s wife, shortly after the Lord had promised to bless them with a son within a year. Prophetic dreams and visions is also one of the ways people of different beliefs are coming to Christ Jesus.
OMG!!! All I did when I got to boot camp was discern spirits. I didn’t know what it was called. God had strategically placed people in my life to tell me that I had discernment. It was in boot camp, just before I graduated, that I heard the Holy Ghost call my name 3 times and woke me up out of my sleep. God did the SAME THING to Samuel. He was a prophet but I always took that for granted because my family always rejected me. In boot camp the psychics ran away from me and would not read my palms. I had no idea that God had set me apart and not only did He want me but I was chosen for His Glory. 😢2 Apostles in 2 different ministries have confirmed my calling in front of their church congregations THIS YEAR!!!! thank you for posting your lessons: I began communicating with God in 1997 through dreams and after that point I began listening to Kim Clement and watched with much wisdom as to how he ministered based on his gifting. Therefore I never took what he said for literal face value bc God is like a poet to me and wanting me to continue to see beauty in various circumstances. Bc of the application of my gifting, by simply listening to God and having faith that He will achieve the most excellent goal of his final outcomes in life I have developed situational wisdom that other people recognize in me. Dreams from God took me through healings to restore my health. God taught me that I was to raise two sons to be pastors and now they are proficient at leading others to Christ. Not many pastors have a fathers that is a prophet. All of my current dreams are interpreted against my seven original dreams from 22 years ago. Therefore you can say that when I see themes from the original dreams then I can project the future accurately. I prophecized 15 years in advance what university and year that my daughter would graduate with a business degree against people within her own family who tried to interfere with her educational opportunities. The truth struggle for these days is based on the old adage “to him who has ears to hear”. So, to those of us who have that wisdom to know how to seek out those who will listen is a real skill. So, my struggle is more about wisdom. My specific message is that the end times are here! The artistry of all my dreams together since 1997 show me definitely that the Lord will return between the years 2020-2024. So I’m seeking the definite truth of His return which required a definite biblical interpretation background about the Rapture of our Lord. Also biblical prophetic training in the books of Ezekiel and Daniel to determine how close we are. Knowing biblical prophecy makes the Bible more relevant when leading others to Christ. I interpret all “truth” based on the fact that I am looking for additional messaging of God’s artistry in nature to highlight to me and others the close proximity of his coming!!
Gods funny. When I started following you, you kept touching on the prophetic and the mantle/office. I started to wonder why God kept putting me in front of this messaging. And a few months after watching you I got my call to the office. And had it confirmed by 13 people, all who didn't know me and didn't know each other.
I agree 100%! We have a bumper crop of self proclaimed prophets and the real ones many times don’t speak out with their mantle because of the stigma of self proclaimed and false prophets.
Wowzers, You said "Flow and Ebb". The Lord started teaching me that 2 months ago. Ebb and flow, cycles. Explained how it works, gave me scriptures. Told me how bad habits can be broken. Gave me scriptures on that too. Replacement therapy loop is what the psychologist call it.
I don’t think the prophecy is wrong but the releasing it at the wrong time is...but if God said that settles it 🤷🏽♀️ just because it doesn’t come now doesn’t mean it won’t come to pass

@@rekindling_the_fire , here's the right understanding of Joel 2:28 that would clear your confusion: After the restoration Joel spoke of previously in the chapter, there will come a time of ultimate restoration and blessing. This latter time will be marked by an outpouring of God's Spirit on "ALL" flesh - not only selected men at selected times for selected duties. The Old Testament has a rich record of the work of the Spirit, but He was not poured out on all flesh under the Old Covenant. Instead, certain men were filled with the Spirit at certain times and only for certain duties. It was rather selective. Here, Joel looks forward to the glorious New Covenant, when the Spirit of God would be poured out on "ALL" flesh. Why, even your sons and daughters, your old men, and your young men would be filled with the Spirit of God. This was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost when the disciples gathered in the upper room, waiting in Jerusalem for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that Jesus promised would come (Acts 1:4-5). Based on their understanding of the Old Testament they would think, "These 120 people are not kings or prophets or priests; God only pours out His Spirit on special people for special duties. These are common folk, and God doesn't pour out His Spirit on them." Peter uses the prophecy of Joel to show them that things are different now, just as God said they would be. Now, the Holy Spirit is poured out upon all who believe and receive, even the common folk. What does it mean if my hands started shaking and the woman 2 rows in front of me said I am to pray for her. I ended up discerning God was calling her out as a prophet and I said God was annointing and calling her as a prophet. The power that I felt running through my hands I said are you ready and there was some kind of a transfer of power. I am now awaiting a meeting with my pastor for concerns he has. Any insight into what is happening here and how to deal with the scrutiny to come?
Yes, they are chosen, but you have to answer the call. I know that for a fact bc the Lord gave me a vision years ago about an old 1940s telephone. Ring ring ring, answer the phone...(answer the call). It's a very old call..But I had to answer it. Once I did the vision lifted.

Num 12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. So just go by that. I have known seers and I have known prophets. My understanding is that a seer can see things in the spirit about you or other things. I have known a gal in the past that would see things about people and tell them. Everything would be true. Prophets would just get a word and also they can see things in the spirit too. I am no prophet but have been given visions and have seen in the spirit before. The lord has also told me about future events too. Some are just coming to pass next week in the financial realm globally.
I have been having dreams, only a few since Jan, and hear Him in my head but not actually hear Him... I know its not me, and it is revelation like. To the point where I have started writing everything down and its more frequent. I read the Bible and study every word of every verse in Biblical Hebrew and Greek. The understandings and guidance is indescribable and I love it. The only confirmations I have gotten, He keeps directing me to 144,000. Had a dream, two weeks later He told me to take my dream and look at specific chapter and verse through the entire Bible. So I did, faithfully, and spent the entire week studying it. When I finished, It flowed as a story over 144,000. One of my dreams was me leading a military unit (I am a former Marine), and there were to solar systems colliding together. I felt complete sorrowful, and then did my "flip a switch" thing, and gave the order to go. Wasn't sure at the time what that might have meant, now im starting to believe a little more. I gave myself to Him for any position He needed me to fill. He died for me, I got His back: Family. I was reborn in Him, and I wouldn't change the past because I wouldn't be who I am today. I love saying 'I am', does anyone else feel that way???
Fit Coach Marshall yes I do and I was a former Marine WM, specifically and there’s so much God taught me in the same manner you described. God has always had military units and I tell people today that I feel like I may die for Jesus and I’m ready for it to bring more people to Him. This nation is so corrupt Even the Marine Corps since that too is of this world. Satan uses and abuses those that are called to SERVE Jesus and want to die for the truth and for God. Instead the US military keeps you from God because you die for a country that doesn’t love God. Think we had once PLEDGED ALLEGIANCE to a FLAG! Not allegiance to Jesus and you know our Father doesn’t like competition. Just think we enjoyed being called DEVIL DOGS and not images of the Living God. We didn’t know better but even the training and the Crops God used to strengthen me for what He has called for me to do right now. @@Stall-FedCalves Looking back two years ago, it is definitely was/is not a demon. I fear building a ‘high tower’ and know enough to understand that WE truly know nothing. I’ve been able to make predictions about future social behaviors, because those perceptions were founded in history, science, and what happened been ‘unveiled’ to me through His ‘Word’. If Christ is the literal Spirit of Truth, which He himself says He is, then Wisdom is our sister baring fruit of ‘discernment’ and Christ our brother whose ‘Name’ or ‘nature’ (what ‘name’ have you made for yourself in this world? Who do people say you are when hearing your name?) is Truth and His fruit is ‘Understanding’, THEY are the Two Witnesses, Two Trees in the midst, “Yah’s Two Greatest Council’s of Old”, the 2 horns of the Ram, the Sun and the Moon, and because Truth ‘died’, we are forgiven of our ignorance in His things. Much like as parents, we forgive our children for not knowing/understanding yet. BUT, that does not exempt us from learning and seeking to do what’s right. Yet, we whine, cry, and murmur when life doesn’t go the way our childish minds want. No, it was not, nor currently is a demon. My Faith is in my Father to not lead me astray, to not lead me into uncontrollable temptation, to protect me/my mind - my ‘city’, from all that is wicked, and to teach me His Truth for understanding in His ‘things’, so that I might be His ‘light’ and example to those around me whom will look and listen. But that’s all from my corruptible ‘mind’, being a corruptible ‘man’. Take it as a grain of salt.
I know i am and through my music which Holy Spirit i believe has gifted me to write I am a prophet singer songwriter teacher etc... Too many people mistake the gift of prophecy from office of a prophet..this 2 different things...prophets know who they are for they understand the authority of the office of a prophet..most people who don't have this understanding most likely are just operating in the gift of prophecy that the Lord has blessed u with...
I agree D Hall. In addition, why such an uproar when a prophet has a title? People have no problem calling a pastor, Pastor. They rarely concern themselves if the pastor is called by God legitimately.

Margarita Octa, Jennifer says a Seer has distinct discernment. Imo that seems right. I do not feel compelled to prophesy. I know I have the office. Was announced 3X in public. Oh the uproar in my friends. The phenomena I experienced were extremely UNCOMMON. I had a woman, raised from the dead, I saw a Pillar of cloud the size of a silo, white - the Lord spoke: Tell them I'm Coming 3X. I saw a whirlwind, my son it too. Other astounding things. Often, I am left out bcz others don't know what to do with me. And yes, I have training. Very isolated - I do have personal & public words yet, the churchy ppl deny its ABBA. Why? Bcz they have no training and no testimony.
Sister... I am so grateful for this video. My life was changed dramatically this past February and I can relate to this so much!! I feel this may be the calling I have as well... but was not sure. The Lord has shown me John the Baptist as well... began hearing many prophetic words and having prophetic dreams. My mom received the holy spirit when I was in the womb... I turned in her belly when she got saved... there's so many questions I have and nobody is able to answer them... I want to walk in the fullness of my gift but I feel like I need to continually have it affirmed as if I'm running from it... I desperately need guidance through this

The best way to hear from God is to get closer and closer to HIM, through prayer, Word, and Worship, and just communing with Him and then waiting quietly to hear from Him. The only true affirmation you need is from Jesus. If He has told you things, believe what He has said! :) God showed me four things: SURRENDER. Surrender everything in your life to Him.Body, soul, spirit...total and complete surrender is essential. SUBMIT. Submit to Jesus as not only your Savior, Redeemer, God, but also Your Lord. "Lord" essentially means you "work" for Him. He is YOUR BOSS. You put yourself under His Authority in all you do in your life. And then you LISTEN to Him. :) COMMIT. If you are not committed to living your life through Him and FOR HIM, other things will gain more credence and pull you out of true commitment. BE WILLING. Be willing for God to use you in any way He wishes to use you! I once had someone "spiritual" tell me to "lay down the prophetic that the healing anointing become more powerful." I replied; "HE is GOD. HE can do it ALL!" Lay down the prophetic so that other gifting could be stronger? The prophetic is PART of the healing gifting because God will SHOW ME what's going on in the person's body, or what they need to do to heal, or what caused their illness in the first place; or if the infirmity is physical, emotional, or of a spiritual nature or all three.... 1 Corinthians 12. You see, the MANIFESTATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT within you is REALLY what this is! You cannot do this on your own! It is God within you, using you as His vessel. Once you realize this, it sort of takes the pressure off! "It's not ME, it's HIM. All I've got to do is listen, and DO what He tells me to do.." It's simple faith in the Holy Spirit working in and through you; The Lord Jesus, the Head of the Church, leading you where He wants you, and Our Abba watching over all His Work to perform it. All ministry, is after all, is GOD's Ministry. We are His hands, feet, ears, eyes, mouth..and most importantly, His heart. Ask Him to feel and see and hear and DO through His heart, His eyes, His ears...and watch as He does amazing things through you--remembering always to Give the Glory to GOD, for the heart of a true apostle, prophet evangelist, pastor,, teacher..will always DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD, because Love for Him is what matters most. Thank you, Jennifer, for explaining how a minister can know if he or she is called to be a prophet. Although I was given to visions, dreams, and revelations since I was baptized in the Holy Spirit, I did not understand what God was doing when He called me to be a prophet. I struggled for decades with this calling. Only now am I learning how to function in that office and do it well.
As I was listening, I started to tear up because I've thought I was weird while I was in the world only to be found and weird after I got saved. It feels so lonely when my thoughts are different than my Christian friends. I've always had the awkward silence after i give a word or speak something outside of someone's understanding. But I guess this is normal
Prophets are "born'' from the womb. Prophets have eyesight the LORD deal with their "sight" continuously, especially from a young age as he spoke and affirmed Jeremiah. There is a difference with being a prophet and just being prophetic. Some people have a strong gift in the prophetic. Amos 7:14 stated he wasnt a prophet nor was I born a prophet
I know "real" prophets unlike myself I have a strong prophetic "gift of knowledge, word of wisdom, strong discerning of spirits" gift of prophetic intercessory by which a lot of prophets can get it twisted thinking I'm a prophet. I don't have the eyesight of a prophet but the discerning gift only
If you are walking in the prophetic you’ll know but you will only know when you spend time in God’s presence his presence will reveal and confirm it to you once you spend time in him

The character is the foundation of the ministry, if the character is a missing link or not ripe yet, then the ministry sooner or later, will collapse... i sense that everywhere I come, that the most running after a prophet , than also to accepts the other 4 ministry gifts. This is an evidence that many couldn't hear God's voice or understand God's will for own life. Even if the background(past) is of occult, some couldn't( unconsciously), discern between a Prophet or a Fortune-teller. This means that they're In great needs, God's people has to be teach & trained, to be prophetic themself...(just sharing an experiences)

Good teaching. Yes some people have misused and/or abused the 5 fold offices titles but I hear over and over people saying "no titles" This "no title" belief promotes lawlessness. For example if the Principal of a school was not called "Principle" then this would cause some confusion. If a student was in trouble would the teacher say, "I'm sending you to the man in that office down the hall" Shalom
I love this video. There is a difference between office and gift. I have always had dreams and unctions in my youth. A man named Elemuel Brown laid hands on me and spoke 5 fold over my life when I was 18. I was literally drunk in the Spirit afterwards and heard my n name called auiblely out loud while home alone. Omg God speaks and I began to say thus says the Lord. I have been struggling in my calling great tribulation and persecution comes and others have called me this. I am terrified God is calling me.
I’m all alone in this no one understands the way I speak to God and I’ve been through 3 different churches and they don’t even know what to do with me. All I wanted was direction. It’s so hard doing this all alone with just God. It gets depressing bc I have no friends
I'm stuck on Prophecy and Prophecy is stuck on me 🙂 I was filled with the Holy Spirit after I left home and ended up in a bar ( in the fear of the Lord) well educated in the new testament! But when I was walking in the Spirit enabled me to sing Praise with all my might and even the piano was in perfect sync with the most beautiful words ( I even tried to stop it and couldn't!!) But that only lasted for about a minute!! Still it doesn't mean I'm a Prophet!! Thank you!! I'm looking forward to getting another chance at it!!

If thats the transalation, then how do u call your Dad be like my male parent. If you are asked whats your Father's name do u answer like I have no Father on earth, I have a male human who is my parent but not a father. I share this to get you thinking of what Jesus was talking about. He said not call people teacher, so do u believe there are no teachers on earth? So when a child goes to school can't call their teacher a teacher because Jesus said not to call any body a teacher on earth, think about it!
I have been seeing, feeling, smelling, tasting,hearing and knowing when something is in the house and on somebody. I've had several face to face encounters with Jesus and angels. I have been taken into heaven during a church service. Several opened eye visions. I have suffered so much trauma in my life and so have my children. We've been to counseling for years and some help has come from it,but we still need healing and restoration.
I’m a photographer and lately God has been showing me in the lens of a camera of what’s going on in peoples lives. I believe I have the gift of discernment, and I have dreams regularly. I’m not sure about calling myself a seer.. I guess apart of my discernment tells me something about calling myself that isn’t right. I call it a prophetic gifting. But I often get rejected a lot and deal with Jezebels! Haven’t been told I’m a prophet yet but confirmation 3 times along the lines of gift of counsel. It’s interesting reading everyone’s comments with there callings.
My prayer is that one day people will teach things as such for free. For the advancement of the Kingdom alone, this should be free. Many can not afford these things. The ultimate teacher is the Holy Ghost.
