Wonderful ideas, my head is spinning. I have many pages that didn’t dissolve well. So now I’m going to drag out all my stuff, and try this technique. A page is never throwawayable. My word.
These ideas can also apply to “failed” gelli prints” too!! Thank you for all of the ideas! Love going into my stash to see what I can find as I am currently breaking my bank trying to pick up a these techniques of Gelli printing etc.!! 💕
My sister surprised me today after a year of me searching for a good price for citrasolve. She put it on my table! I screamed over and over citrasolve!!! And chased her around the house to hug her. So excited!!!
So far I've been unsuccessful with my Citrasolv but I love these ideas and the pages of Nat Geo are looking so much better!!! Thank you! I can't wait to see your collages from these sheets.

I honestly preferred the ones without the alcohol ink on it. I think you overdid it but you’re talented and you can do whatever you want because it’s your art. My favorite was the one with the stencils, and the purple was beautiful.
Matte varnish is a wonderful idea. You make me laugh when you think pages are boring. Many times I would have been happy with them. So glad you improved them. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦

Also…. My second post today, but I’m throwing out another “ scratch your headable moment” . Since we are reworking pages we don’t like, or failed the first go round. I’m throwing this out, because it happened to me. Have you ever put your actual coffee or tea cup down, leaving a ring on a finished piece of art, or card, or envelope? I’m so lazy, after leaving a coffee ring on a birthday card envelope, then not finding another 7x7 envelope, I just Froyel’d an other coffee ring, then interference paint rings. Now, it’s art. I love you Froyle. I love to “Froyle” stuff. Do you “ Froyle” ?

Using a random organic stencil such as “cellular theory” from PMArtist studio with more Citrasolv to remove ink might create patterns similar to your successful ones.

Mine feel kinda greasy. It wasn't too cool but maybe I didn't let them dry enough because the wind was whipping up? Also, should they still smell? Still pretty strong to me. Thanks for all your cheerful help. You really make me smile!😊
I love your videos. I love your laugh. I speed up videos to 1.5 so that I can watch more of them and then your laugh is so amazing. I do have a question. time stamp 2:45 you mentioned the feel of the papers to know if it worked or not. Please explain that. I have done some and the feel is very chalky like. Just wondering if that is the way it should be. Greetings from Washington State, USA.
I live in Arizona and have noticed that a brand new bottle works great the first day but the solution left at the bottom of the bottle (lid on) overnight will turn almost clear and not work well at all. I don't know if the chemical denatures in air, sunlight or warm weather, but this has happened several times with bottles I have left on the covered back patio overnight or a day or two, even when it not 118F outside. I bring them into the house now.
Wow! That’s bizarre! It must have something to do with the temperature. I have found here that the citrasolve doesn’t work if it is too cold! 😂 so temperamental! Cheers
This is great Froyle! Lol one way to use up my alcohols ink! I bought some and tried the original way on glossy paper, then recently on the gel plate, but both times turn out horrible! I now think I am not talented with alcohol inks! Need to use them up!

Hi Froyle, All was good - new CitraSolve. Did pour a lot on the pages. Nat Geo was from 1992. Temperature just right, Let sit and after an hour - nothing. I could take my finger and smear the ink but that's about it. Don't think it could be because I used too much CitraSolve ?!?!? Will keep trying.
Another fab video, had me digging out long forgotten sprays😃,I remember you mentioned at not before date f(2020) for the Nat Geo magazines . I can't find any this neck of the woods, will current issues work as well ? I will have to subscribe to get them, any suggestions ?
The date can be any time after 1980! Yes recent ones work, but so do the ones from 20 years ago! You will find these in thrift shops etc! Happy creating! 😘 cheers Froyle
