glad to see someone with a bit shorter hair able to do this, my hair's a bit longer and also really thick but everyone doing these seems to have 4ft long hair
@@violetmarinaayis same, I even tried straightening my hair so it’s a bit longer (my hair is chin length when it’s natural, shoulder length straight, and in between when wet)
I know this is an old video, but just wanted to let you know it's still helping people!! I have shorter, finer hair that I'm trying to grow and love hair sticks. This is the first time I've been able to use them!!
Omg, I finally found a hair tutorial with someone who has the same hair length as me! I recently cut my hair but it’s still long enough that it bothers me in the summer.
What a great video, it was very helpful and enjoyable! You have very pretty hair and your voice is so pleasant to listen to! Thank you for sharing this!
Totally agree that someone finally did this kind of video with shorter hair! And girl your hair color is amazing! It's so pleasant and soothing to watch~
super glad for this video. My hair is generally considered long but it's short enough that a lot of hair stick tutorials feel a little precarious to me
Definitely will be trying these with my hair and the hair stick and this golden leaf hair pin I got. I was managing getting them to stay, but they weren't staying too study. Not used to doing my hair at all, so getting the bun to stay tight in the first place has been tough, but I'm figuring it out. Thank you so much for this video :)
i thought my hair might be too short to use these bc none of the styles ive tried have worked but the second one with the pencil REALLY works! and it looks cool af thank you so much omg
Thanks a lot I had donated most of my hair few months back. It grew to an obnoxious length where I couldn't let it free without my hair hindering my sight when working or studying. It's not like I carry a hair tie all the time but I mostly do have pen/pencil with me... I used to tie it up with hairpin stick all the time when I had long hair but I just couldn't tie my short hair the same way no matter how hard I tried Your video has helped me lots Thanks 😊 💕
Honestly. It's so nice to see someone do a chop stick bun with medium hair - everyone else just has hair to their waist and then they twist 500 times lol
Omg I actually did it!! 👏🏻 🤩 … with a chopstick that’s massssive lol. Maybe I will invest in an actual hair stick now. Thank You! - My hair is about your length
I understand this is an older video but I would like to educate you on calling the hair pins (hair sticks ) up to you but call them chopsticks are quite wrong. Chopsticks and hair sticks are completely different so naming them in that title is kinda misleading and miseducating.
My hair in general is too thick for this... like each strand.. not saying that's a good thing.... Just saying. Because I am having ZERO luck with these styles.. *grumbles* I think they are actually frayed or whatever you would call it from color damage.. I try to smooth it out.... but it's a pain to do.. Watching these videos.. I see just how smooth others hair is.. and now I'm sad.. lol I laugh when I'm nervous and or sad lol
Chopsticks aren't normally made to be strong enough to hold hair, especially not thick hair. I sure hope you've bought hair sticks meant for your hair type by now.
Its 2020 I can't believe this is still an issue- Specifically this trend was universal. Basically every population with straight to curly hair used sticks or string to style. Elastics, barrets, and clips, didn't exist yet. But generally- it shouldn't matter as long as you're nor purposely maliciously mocking someone. ✌
