3 Ways To Remove Login Password From Your Windows 11

Today we are going to take a look at 3 ways to remove login password from your windows 11 PC. By default, when using a Microsoft account on Windows 11, for security reasons, you will need to enter a password. This is not a bad thing, but some people don't want the hassle of having to enter a password everything they log into Windows 11 when using a Microsoft account. For me, its a step in the right direction from Microsoft and you should have to always enter password to login to your computer. So for that reason, I leave my password enabled at logon and so should you. Your other option is to use a local account and remove the password.

Thanks so much. I did the 1st easy way before but an update must've reinstated it. My box wasn't checked so I checked it and removed the check to make it "apply". It works now.

Thanks so much, the registry option was the only one that worked on my new Windows 11 Pro build. netplwiz didn't offer an option and either did settings. I am an administrator and downloaded windows yesterday.

You have to disable every sign in option like finger print or pin and only have password for netplwiz to work

How would I revert this and delete the automatic logon? Can I just delete the Default- Username & Password? (And what about the AutoAdminLogon?)

Nice video bro 👌👌👌 Btw bro I have question, I currently installed Windows 10 version (KB5005033) which I guess is the latest but in installation of it, it got stuck and accidentally my laptop goes 0% battery and turned off and in such conditions it got updated and now giving me errors, only update available to me right now is 21H1 so, I want to ask you that should I move from KB5005033 to 21H1 or it will be a downgrade??

Stopping a update half way through its process is never good. Either roll back or Reset this pc.

The 3rd one always works for me. Have used it several times with success. But this time it wasn't working. I figured it out. I had a pin set to unlock my computer. Once I removed that your #3 kicked right in. Thank you so much.

Tried same as you but did not remove the pasword, in the password field this was blank, then when I hit the ok ? the folowing error occured. Cannot complete the operation Please use the providers online site.

Even with the netplwiz check box unchecked. And the Settings>Accounts>Sign-in Options settings all aligned with the video AND the registry edited. It still will not automatically log in. I live alone and when I come home I just want to hit the power button and come back to my computer after I change into comfy clothes and then get on with my night. I hate that this is so broken after updating to windows 11.

The problem is you need to use you password to login to turn off your password, if win11 has screwed up your passwords so that you can't login how do you login to delete win 11 and reinstall win10?

Win11 doesnt even launch regedit. I ask it to and something similar to a pop up blocker isnt allowing me to open it????

Good video! I suscribed but... No one of this tricks help me but... the only way I remove any password and pin was changing from online account o local. If there is another way to remove pin and password without changing to local, I will appreciate.

I was born in 95, i grew up with computers, ive had windows all my life. God damn i'm 26 years old now and about to become a dad for the first time, is this why i need to google even the simplest of tasks? "how to disable password on windows 11" We have had alot of weird windows operating systems throughout the years, but this operating system makes me feel like a 92 year old with no technological background lol.

Awesome tutorial, thanks for the insight, it's important for viewers to also remember that any/everytime Microsoft/account password is changed or updated, they will need to also update the password in NETPLWIZ or else they will likely keep getting an error message after each PC restart during the login process

I noticed for the netplwiz portion, I needed to input my Microsoft user and password versus my pc user and windows 10 pin.
