Why Khuda Hafeez is replaced by Allah Hafeez. In India the Parsees, the Sikhs and many Indians say ‘Khuda Hafeez’.

Allah hafiz is not a real urdu expression. Khuda hafiz is correct.

alvida is also bye in urdu/hindi. She didn't used it for some reason.

Adaab is for 'Hi' commonly used among Indian Urdu speakers but very rare in Pakistan. Alvida is used for 'Bye' in both Pakistan and India.

@@fouziakhan9324 Hindi and Urdu are 95% the same in spoken language, and yes Alvida IS Hindi and Urdu. But In India I have almost never heard someone say that as goodbye.

Hindustan -> Urdu, Hindi. Urdu is our national language not (Urdu+hindi)-> hindustani

I need to learn Punjabi because my husband’s relatives only speak this dialect in their city. I can understand Urdu, but as soon as they speak Punjabi I feel as if the sounds are muffled.

@@fouziakhan9324 Urdu and Hindi are the SAME spoken language with only religious oriented words annd the scripts making them different. 'Hindustani' is also not the correct way to refer to these because they are not 'Hindu' as that name implies.
