@@tekitek there are h block adapters. I would definitely not recommend it since you want as kuch stability as possible and be low on the ground while grinding and jumping. But yes it would ne possible....
The fact that society doesn't think it's socially acceptable to use roller blades as a form of transportation breaks my heart. I want to roll down to the store and get myself a snack on this lovely day but there are no bike lanes or side walks to do so safely. There should be more types of roads instead of just lame vehicle ones.
I'm hoping to roller skate again soon. I was practicing and sprained my ankle really bad, so I've been on crutches until a few days ago, and hopefully in a week or two my ankle will be healed enough to skate again!
you'll be back skating in no time. I sprained my ankle at age 30 3 years ago from skating too when my foot got caught in a pot hole. I was out for a month and a half from skating. Once you heal you'll be like "what ankle sprain?".
Do raises, stand with feet flat and lift yourself with one foot onto your toes. Also buy a wobble board and strengthen those calf and ankle muscles you'll be able to catch yourself much easier from rolling your ankle again
@@Tortle4444 Heal first don't be straining yourself it'll only delay healing. I had a skin graft on my ankle and spent 6 months on crutches so I had a lot of work to do to get back into shape. Hopefully this helps you!
Sprained ankle is nothin, I tore my ACL about a month ago skiing, got surgery in it this week and am out for about 9-10 months and on crutches for weeks
You can use two as well. Mine only had two but there was a grind pad where the other wheels go. An 😎👍 awesome video makes me want to start skating again.
Rollerblade Macroblade 110 3WDs are my current inline skates, and having had them for a year, I can definitely say that your claim on fast they are is definitely true. I have struggled on uphill stretches more than I did with my previous Tempest 100s, but my speed and endurance have both improved with the 3x110 layout. Now if only I could find a race near me (the North Shore Marathon in Duluth is the closest to me, but it’s still a day or two’s driving just to get there).
@@tomb7580 if you like to think in that way yes :D but it would be easier to just get smaller wheels. The smaller the wheels the worse they will maintain speed so you need to workout harder....
You mentioned the Sarasota marathon, that's where I live. I just started inline skating and I'm always trying to find new pavement. I'll look forward to finding events like the marathon and meetups to keep me motivated.
Am I the only one who thinks a 20 mile marathon on skates is... Not a marathon in terms of endurance? Well I guess if it is up hill most of the time. I use to skate to school. Took me just like 4 minutes in a mile. Mostly flat. One hill, but I made speed going down it. Anyway I just think it should be double that. Skating is more efficient.
I just got my rollerblades 3 days ago and I’ve learned so much just from watching your videos! I’ve literally been practicing in my house on hard wood floors, and tried on the street yesterday for the first time and it was so different!! Practicing my stopping before really taking on the trail or road again ❤
Learning how to fall could help. You can look up techniques. Knowing what to do and practicing (without skates) will help prepare you. Once you get used to falling without skates, then try with skates rolling slowly. And of course use knee, elbow, and wrist protection.
Get a lot of protective gear and practise falling. If you realise that nothing can happen since the protective gear keeps yourself safe really good it will become much easier. You can start practising balance and some standard movement on grass.
@@ALPHARHYTHM0 you forgot most importantly the helmet. A pair of shock pants is also not that bad especially if somebody falls backwards. It will help you that you wont hurt your ass that much
love your channel! recently got back into blading and was wondering if you have or can create a video showing how to get a strong one foot glide because i’m trying to do a t-stop
I have the 100/110 version of that frame. I have used it on the trail in the 3 x 110 configuration but I don't use it on the 3 or more times a week skate around my hilly neighborhood streets. For that I prefer my FR1 4 x 90s but also have used a different pair of FR1 3x110s a few times when my 4x90s needed rotated. It's a bit different from the FR1 3x110 shorter frame versus the endless 100/110 with 3 110mm wheels because the endless frame is considerably longer.
@@PollySkates I skated religiously every single day all around my city and the little towns in between. I think I did 30 something miles in a day, prob more, I'm kinda old so we didn't have smart shit to tell us what the hell was going on 😆
You can see the size and it’s written on the wheel. The order doesn’t matter if they are brand new wheels. If they are used wheels what’s more important than the order is being sure the more worn down side is on the OUTSIDE because the inside wears more when you go skating :)
@@wozzy7 88a is harder than the average inlineskate which is around 85 (assuming that the really cheap skates wouldnt count, which are extremely soft because the wheels are cheap)
I have a pair of skate called wizard blades. My local skate shop makes them locally and theyre super fun! Theyre pretty expensive but id recommend them for some realy fun city skating
@@PollySkates i would slightly disagree. At least if you compare the standard endless frame to a 5x wizard frame.... Also usf mounting vs 165 or in my case trinity setup is a difference...
What brand are the inline? I got some that support only 3 wheels but I would like some that have the option of interchangeable wheels like yours, and the lights on the wheels are a big plus 😄👍🏻
Could you skate with just two wheel? Just curious cause you can do put three wheels and four wheels on the skates so i was wondering if the bigger wheels for two wheels only or is it not balance enough to do that?
Right now I have 80 mm wheels but im thinking of switching to 100 mm thanks for the pros and cons of different wheel sizes, as a speed skater I think the 100 are better tho
i wish i could skate but i'm terrified of falling now since i damaged both my arms in the past, one arm i have broke twice on 2 seperate occassions causing me to get metal pins in my forearm and a plate at my elbow as I shattered my humorous bone(worst pain ever) these incidents where tripping over a box that shouldn't have been there in my old work and the other was falling while walking the other arm I dislocated the elbow on a 3rd occasion, which was my falling down 2 steps. i am very accident prone and now fear falling.
